Monster World By: Abby T Chapter 1 Hearing Hey have you heard of monster world? asked an adult rainbow butterfly named Fifi. No and go back to sleep, said a sixteen year old scarlet macaw named Scarlet. Good morning! happily said a blue caterpillar with fuzz named Catcat. It s not morning, said Scarlet. Fifi is letting her wild imagination go again. All of a sudden, the enormous tree that they made their home in fell down! Ah! they all screamed. Instead of the tree hitting the ground, it went through it. The sky flipped directions and they were in a mirror world. Where are we? asked Fifi. I don t know, said Scarlet. I do, said Catcat excitedly. We are in monster world! Why are you excited? asked Fifi nervously.
I don t know, said Catcat. But think of the adventure we could have. Then Fifi was excited as well as Scarlet. Just then a booming voice in the sky cackled, IF YOU EVER WISH TO GET BACK TO YOUR OWN WORLD, YOU MUST FOLLOW THE PATH IF YOU DARE! So what s now? asked Scarlet nervously. They sat in complete silence. Chapter 2 Lava Castle. Let s leave this piece of junk, said Catcat. Catcat is right! said Scarlet. They trembled as they left the tree and walked down the path. There was a castle alongside the path with strange black creatures standing on top of it. Let s make a plan, stated Scarlet. Fifi you distract them and Catcat we ll fly away. Fifi you leave after that. Okay? Okay! said Fifi and Catcat together. They headed toward the lava castle. Lava balls started flying out of the castle. Fifi started distracting the black creatures. Meanwhile Scarlet tucked
Catcat in her wing and flew away. Then Fifi followed. But more lava balls came. Scarlet gave Catcat to Fifi. Scarlet flew off to lava castle and started breaking the lava balls with her beak. Fifi and Catcat watched from a distance. Later the castle ran out of lava balls and Scarlet went back to Fifi and Catcat. Wow that was awesome Scarlet, said Fifi. Yeah, said catcat. Let s keep going, said Scarlet. They went further along the path. OK, I m scared now, said Catcat. Chapter 3 Grass Castle. Soon they saw a castle made out of grass. Where are we? asked Fifi. YOU ARE AT GRASS CASTLE!!! yelled a voice. AHHHHHHHHHH! screamed Catcat. We ll be okay, said Scarlet. They were all super scared. Now grass balls were being thrown.
DODGE THE BALLS IF YOU WANT TO GET PAST! said the voice again. Scarlet tucked Catcat under her wing. Then Scarlet and Fifi started dodging grass balls. One hit Fifi and she went tumbling into Scarlet. Scarlet tucked her under her other wing. Scarlet kept going, the balls kept following her. Help me soon universe! screamed Scarlet. She was surprised when help came. A giant with an enormous tennis racket came running down the path. Who are you? asked Scarlett. But the giant ignored her and just hit the grass balls back like tennis balls. Scarlett flew further down the path. Chapter. 4 On the Way to Our Next Task. Scarlet stopped to check on Fifi. Are you okay? asked Scarlet. I think so, replied Fifi. Phew, answered Scarlet. Catcat you can come out now, said Scarlet. Catcat came out from underneath Scarlet s wing.
Let s head to our next task, suggested Scarlet. Good idea, but I m nervous, replied Catcat. They started down the path. The further they got the more nervous they were. We ve been walking for miles, said Fifi. Chapter 5 Grug s Bridge Wait I see something in the distance, said Scarlet. YOU ARE AT GRUG S BRIDE! roared an ugly troll. I WILL LOVE YOU AS A MEAL. AAHHHHH!! screamed Fifi. We ll be alright, said Scarlet. Catcat climbed on Scarlet s back and hid under some feathers. They were ready when Grug came out from under the bridge. Scarlet started to peck Grug. IF I LET YOU GO DOWN THE PATH, YOU GIVE ME THE BUTTERFLY! roared Grug. Never!! yelled Scarlet. Then she and Fifi flew so high that Grug couldn t get them. They got away!
Chapter 6 Mud Monster They walked further on the path to a giant swamp. Another voice groaned, WELCOME TO MUD MONSTER RESIDENCE. WE WILL LIKE YOU. What is happening? asked Fifi. A giant monster made out of mud formed in front of them blocking the path TO BE CONTINUED!!!!! READ MONSTER WORLD TWO TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS!!!...
