R Reviews ick Hale wrote an eye-opener of a book. Geek or not, there are some fascinating facts presented within these pages. Of truth or a story? He walks you through this journey with him, and he never asks anyone to agree with his personal beliefs. His gifts are special as he is. GLORIA JEAN, GLORIA JEAN S COFFEES R ick is such a geek. JAMIE, RICK S WIFE W hat I admired about this particular book was how Rick covered the gamut of possibilities and theories across a spectrum of the most commonly researched, misunderstood, and colloquial forms of the supernatural. Many writers make the mistake of preaching their opinion and their opinion alone. Many writers focus on one particular belief or theory and speak the words as if it is gospel. Rick successfully offered an array of useful knowledge, which allows the reader to determine on their own what is best for them as far as the science of the paranormal, the religious intervention, and even the potential folklore. The Geek s Guide will be of interest to the ghost story lover and the research guru. I would recommend Rick s work to any person wishing to expand their knowledge on the subject from the beginner to the seasoned veteran. The Geek s Guide places much there is to know with interesting stories (some of which I have never heard) into one very coherent, enjoyable, and casual read. The Geek s Guide is down-to-earth, straight forward, and humbling. STEPHEN LANCASTER, MONSTERVISIONTV
