Performance Data? Schools # Schools Repaired # New Schools Locations Etc. Recovery.gov Transportation Miles Repaired New Lane Miles Locations Etc. Broadband # New Broadband Users Miles of fiber optics Locations Etc.
Transparency, Accountability is the new way of doing business..there s no going back
Observations: Transparency is not enough dots on a map Accountabilty need tools to evaluate/ discuss if the right ihtdecisions i are being bi made Fedstat and ARRA tracking templates are a start next performance management and metrics across government

Observations Open Government is more than Dots on a Map state websites should take a look at Maryland's website, which scored the highest on the report with 80%, and start taking notes... -Gary Bass, OMG Watch Interactive maps especially when variables such as patterns of economic need are included can help convey the facts about stimulus spending in a much more compelling manner. -Philip Mattera, Good Jobs First

Federal Examples Recovery.gov
48 Introduction The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), which was passed in February 2009, requires a high degree of transparency in how stimulus funds are allocated and disbursed.
