2 WINTER STORM WARNING In effect for the entire region through Wednesday evening Snow will continue across the region tonight through Wednesday. Storm totals will range from inches across the Niagara Frontier and western Southern Tier to inches across the Finger Lakes and North Country with highest amounts along the south shore of Lake Ontario. Temperatures will remain well below normal for this time of year. Daily highs in the upper teens to low 20s and lows single numbers to low teens. Wind chills will range from 5 above to 5 below zero. Winds from the Northeast this afternoon...backing to the north this evening and tonight and from the northwest on Wednesday. Wind speeds generally 15 to 25 mph, with stronger with gusts to 35 mph along the south shores of Lakes Erie and Ontario.
