7 Pacific Meteorological Strategy guides the priorities of the region The PIMS has 14 Pacific Key Outcomes (PKO) that outline the main priorities highlighted by the NMSs. The implementation of each of the PKO's are further separated into (87) Pacific National Priority Actions and (68) Pacific Regional Priority Actions Under each of the PKO's Currently under mid-term Review

12 Nuku alofa Declaration on TCC 20. ACKNOWLEDGE the support of the Government of Fiji to its Meteorological Service to perform its functions as the WMO designated Regional Specialized Meteorological Centre for Tropical Cyclones (RSMC Nadi-TCC); as the ICAO designated Tropical Cyclone Advisory Center (TCAC) for aviation, and Meteorological Watch Office (MWO) for Nadi Flight Information Region (FIR).

13 PMDP Support Activities The PMDP continue to provide support to secure projects and funding to implement the PIMSs. SPREP is a Regional Implementing Entity (RIE) for the Green Climate Fund (GCF)

14 Establishment of New Partnerships SPREP signed a new MoU with the International Federation for Red Cross (IFRC) to engage NMHSs and Communities in the FINPAC Countries UKMO and MetService to manage the Pacific Fund supporting upper air operations in Tuvalu, Kiribati (and Cook Islands) MoU with CSIRO in June 2016 New MoUs to Come
