Part 1 Prior Knowledge Engage: With a shoulder partner answer the following questions. What is weather? What is climate? What information is presented in a weather report? As a class then, list these on the board or whiteboard with a small group. Let s take a look at today s weather from Weather.com or another website. What is the forecast for today? What is the forecast for tomorrow? What is the forecast for the rest of the week? What data does the website show? How is the data collected for the website? 1
