5 Process for Inclement Weather: (School/Installation) - Delayed start or closure decision is made no later than AFN radio (FM 106.0) - Road conditions posted at - Garrison Facebook page and through AtHoc Messaging. - Info Line at Early Release: Any early release will be determined by the USAG-Italy Garrison Commander in coordination with school administration and senior staff. Note: Directors/Commanders are responsible for making timely notifications to their assigned personnel.

7 VMC Snow removal and/or ice control plan will be implemented when - Snow has reached the depth of two inches on roads, or - Ice on roads is determined to be sufficient to cause hazardous driving conditions When notified, DPW will immediately send three crews to perform cleaning of installations main roads (Longare, Ederle, Villaggio, Del Din, Lerino and Torri) When roads are cleared, DPW personnel will begin clearing of parking lots on Ederle: Command Buildings, Clinic, Shoppette, Schools, Commissary, PX DMC Low risk snow event climate however DMC DPW has snow removal equipment and plan to clear main roads followed by side roads and parking areas in priority as VMC. More common is frosting of Depot roads, when notified salt/sand mixture is spread for vehicle traffic safety.
8 Bags of salt will be placed at different building locations throughout Caserma Ederle, Del Din, Longare, Villaggio, Darby, and Depot for the community to be spread at entrances and on sidewalks if necessary Limited amount of snow shovels will be available for 48 hr use from DPW Supply
