1 Elapsed time is time that has passed. It can be measured in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years. It helps most people to visualize (imagine) a clock when answering questions about seconds, minutes, and hours. A calendar is helpful when you are working with days, weeks, months, or years. In this unit, you will be learning about elapsed time in seconds, minutes, and hours. Read the following and choose the best answer. 1. Suppose you are making a birthday cake for your sister.
