1 Algebra Winter Break Extra Credit Fall Semester ( Homework Points Maximum) Due: Monday January, at the start of class Directions: Answer all questions, showing work for each problem on your own separate paper If it is a question where there is no work to do then justify your answer by explaining how you know your answer is correct Grading: This will be graded based on correctness and neatness/clarity of work shown So in order to earn the most points possible, you should make sure that all your answers (including work shown) are correct and written neatly and clearly Problems must be clearly numbered and written in order on the papers you turn in Other Comments: It would be helpful to use your notes to help you, as well as the textbook For each problem, the chapter and section are written in parenthesis to help you find the topic in the book Even if you re not interested in extra credit, final exams are right after we come back from break, so these would be good review for finals Your final exam will be all multiple choice questions, so practicing with these problems should hopefully help you prepare for that
