1 SOME INEQUALITIES ON THE NORMS OF SPECIAL MATRICES WITH GENERALIZED TRIBONACCI AND GENERALIZED PELL PADOVAN SEQUENCES arxiv: v [mathco] 8 Oct 015 ZAHID RAZA, MUHAMMAD RIAZ, AND MUHAMMAD ASIM ALI Abstract In this paper some properties of generalized tribonacci generalized Padovan sequence are presented Also the Euclidean norms of circulant, r-circulant, semi-circulant Hankle matrices with above mentioned sequences are calculated The upper lower bounds of spectral norms are also obtained 1 Introduction Circulant matrices have many application in solving the different types of ordinary partial differential equations In computations mathematics these matrices have a key role in signal processing, digital image etc There are many results about some special matrices their norms Solak [11] have found the bounds of spetral norms of circulant matrices with Fibonacci lucas numbers Shen Cen [1] established lower upper bounds for the spetral norms of r-circulant matrices with Fibonacci Lucas numbers Akbulak Bozkurt [1] found upper lower bounds for the spetral norms of Toeplitz matrices In [7] Kocer obtained Circulant, Negacyclic Semi-circulant matrices with the modified Pell, Jacobsthal Jacobsthal- Lucas numbers Halici [3] investigated some inequality norms of hankel matrices involving Pell,Pell Lucas numbers In [] establish some properties of circulant matrix with third order recurrence relation In [1] they defined spetral norm, eigenvalues determinant of circulant matrix involving the generalized k Horadam numbers In view of above study, we obtained the norms of different types of matrices like circulant, r-circulant, semi-circulant Hankel matrices with generalized tribonacci generalized pell padovan sequence Furthermore, Euclidean norms, maximum row maximum column norms are obtained Upper lower bounds of spetral norm are also calculated in this paper The third order recurrence relation is defined as: 11 Q n pq +qq n +rq n 3, with initial conditions Q 0 a, Q 1 b, Q c where a, b c are positive integer If we take p q r 1, then generalized tribonacci sequence is given as : 1 R n R +R n +R n 3 with intial conditions R 1 b,r 1 b, R c Take p 0, q r 1 in 11 The tribonacci sequence is a generalization of Fibonacci sequence, which is defined as: 13 T n T +T n +T n 3 Key words phrases Circulant,r Circulant,semi-circulant, Hankel, spectral norm, Euclidean norm 1
