The objects can be numbers, variables, symbols or anything else. The order in which the elements are listed does not matter. This is a discrete list of everything that is in the set. If you don t see an object/element listed, it is not included in the set. Set Builder Notation: Tells what an object/element of the set looks like is an even number between and 0 is read The set containing such that is an even number between and 0. Vertical line means such that Gives clear description how to decide whether or not an object is in the set This is a good notation for sets with infinite members or with lots of members.
