arxiv:7.0074v [math.cv] Nov 07 The Fekete Szegö Coefficient Inequality For a New Class of m-fold Symmetric Bi-Univalent Functions Satisfying Subordination Condition Arzu Akgül Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Arts Science, Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, zmit, Turkey. corresponding author. akgul@kocaeli.edu.tr November 3, 07 Abstract In this paper, we investigate a new subclass S ϕ,λ Σ m of Σ m consisting of analytic m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions satisfying subordination in the open unit disk U. We consider the Fekete-Szegö inequalities for this class. Also, we establish estimates for the coefficients for this subclas several related classes are also considered connections to earlier known results are made. Keywords: Analytic functions, m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions, Coefficient bounds. 00, Mathematics Subject Classification: 30C45, 30C50. Introduction Definitions Let A denote the class of functions of the form fz) = z + a n z n, ) n= which are analytic in the open unit disk U = {z : z < }, let S be the subclass of A consisting of the form ) which are also univalent in U. The Koebe one-quarter theorem [7] states that the image of U under every function f from S contains a disk of radius 4. Thus every such univalent function has an inverse f which satisfies f f z)) = z z U)
where f f w) ) = w w < r 0 f), r 0 f) ), 4 f w) = w a w + a a 3) w 3 5a 3 5a a 3 +a 4 ) w 4 +. ) A function f A is said to be bi-univalent in U if both f f are univalent in U. Let Σ denote the class of bi-univalent functions defined in the unit disk U. For a brief history interesting examples in the class Σ, see[3]. Although, the familier Koebe function is not in the class of Σ,there are some examples of functions member of Σ, such as ) z z, log z), +z log z so on. Other common examples of functions in S for example z z z z are also not members of Σ see [3]). An analytic function f is said to be subordinate to another analytic function g, written fz) gz), 3) provided that there is an analytic function w defined on U with satisfying the following condition: w0) = 0 wz) < fz) = gwz)). Lewin [3] is the first mathematician studied the class of bi-univalent functions, obtaining the bound.5 for modulus of the second coefficient a. Subsequently, Brannan Clunie [3] conjectured that a for f Σ Netanyahu [0] showed that max a = 4 3. Brannan Taha [?] introduced certain subclasses of the bi-univalent function class Σ similar to the familiar subclasses. S β) Kβ) of starlike convex function of order β 0 β < ) in turn see [0]). The classes SΣ α) K Σα) of bi-starlike functions of order α bi-convex functions of order α, corresponding to the function classes S α) Kα), were also introduced analogously. For each of the function classes SΣ α) K Σα), they found non-sharp estimates on the initial coefficients. In fact, the beforementioned work of Srivastava et al. [3] fundamentally reviwed the investigation of diversified subclasses of the bi-univalent function class Σ in recent times. Recently, many authors searched bounds for various
subclasses of bi-univalent functions [], [], [8], [6], [3], [7], [30]). Not much is knownabout the bounds on the generalcoefficient a n for n 4. In the literature, the only afew worksdetermining the generalcoefficientbounds a n for the analytic bi-univalent functions [5], [9], [0]). The coefficient estimate problem for each of a n n N\{,}; N = {,,3,...}) is still an open problem. For each function f S, the function hz) = m fz m ) z U, m N) 4) is univalent maps the unit disk U into a region with m-fold symmetry. A function is said to be m-fold symmetric see [], []) if it has the following normalized form: fz) = z + a mk+ z mk+ z U, m N). 5) k= We symbolyze by S m the class of m-fold symmetric univalent functions in U, which are normalized by the series expansion 5).Indeed, the functions in the class S are one-fold symmetric. Similiar to the concept of m-fold symmetric univalent functions, here, in this work, we introduced the concept of m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions. Each function f Σ generates an m-fold symmetric bi-univalent function for each integer m N. The normalized form of f is given by 5) the series expansion for f is given by below: gw) = w a m+ w m+ + [ m+)a m+ a )] m+ w m+ 6) [ ] m+)3m+)a3 m+ 3m+)a m+ a m+ +a 3m+ w 3m+ +. where f = g. We denote by Σ m the class of m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions in U. Taylor Maclaurin series expansion of the inverse function of f has been recently proven by Srivastava et al. [8]. For m =, the formula 6) induces the formula ) of the class Σ. Some examples of m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions are given here below: z m z m ) m, [ log z m )] m, [ log +z m z m In this work, the class of analytic functions of the form is ) ] m. such that pz) = +p z +p z +p 3 z 3 + holds this class is denoted by P. Rpz)) > 0 z U) 3
In the work of Pommerenke [], the m-fold symmetric function p in the class P is given of the form: pz) = +p m z +p m z m +p 3m z 3m + 7) Throughout this study, ϕ will be assumed as an analytic function with positive real part in the unit disk U such that ϕ0) = ϕ0) > 0. ϕu) is symmetric with respect to the real axis. The function ϕ has a series expansion of the form: ϕz) = + z +B z +B 3 z 3 + > 0). 8) Let uz) vz) be two analytic functions in the unit disk U with We observe that u0) = v0) = 0 max{ uz), vz) } <. uz) = b m z m +b m z m +b 3m z 3m + 9) vw) = c m w m +c m w m +c 3m w 3m +. 0) Also we assume that b m, b m b m, c m, c m c m ) Making some simple calculations we can notice that ϕuz)) = + b m z m + b m +B b m) z m + z < ) ) ϕvw)) = + c m w m + c m +B c m) z m + w < ). 3) In this study, derived substantially by the work of Ma Minda [5] [8], we introduce some new subclasses of m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functionsobtainboundsforthetaylor-maclaurincoefficients a m+ a m+ Fekete-Szegö functional problems for functions in these new classes. 4
Definition A function f Σ m is said to be in the class S λ Σ m ϕ) if the following conditions are satisfied: f Σ m, zf z) λ)fz)+λzf ϕz) 0 λ <, z U) 4) z) λg w) λ)gw)+λwg ϕw) 0 λ <, w U) 5) w) where the function g = f, given by the 6). Remark For the case of one fold symmetric functions the class S λ Σ m ϕ) reduces to the following classes:. In the case of m = in Definition, we have the class S λ Σ ϕ) = G ϕ,ϕ Σ γ) investigated by Magesh Yamini [7] defined by requiring that zf z) λ)fz)+λzf ϕz) 0 λ <, z U) z) λg w) λ)gw)+λwg ϕw) 0 λ <, w U), w) where the function g = f given by the equation ).. In the case of m = λ = 0 in Definition, then we have the class S 0 Σ ϕ) which is the class of Ma Minda starlike functions, introduced by Ma Minda [5]. This class consits of the functions zf z) fz) ϕz) 3. In thecaseofm = indefinition, forthe differentchoicesofthefunction ϕz), we obtain interesting known subclasses of analytic function class. For example, If we let ϕz) = + β)z z or ϕz) = β)z,0 β <, z U) z 5
then the class SΣ λ ϕ) reduces to the class SΣ 0 ϕ) = SS Σ β,λ). This class contains the functions satisfying the conditions ) arg zf z) λ)fz)+λzf < απ z) ) arg λg w) λ)gw)+λwg < απ w) 0 < α,0 λ <, z U) 0 < α,0 λ <, w U). Similarly, ıf we let ) α +z ϕz) = or ϕz) = z ) α z,0 < α,z U) +z then the class SΣ λ ϕ) reduces to the class SΣ 0 ϕ) = SS Σ α,λ). This class contains the functions satisfying the conditions zf ) z) f Σ, Re λ)fz)+λzf > β 0 β <,0 λ <, z U) z) wg ) w) Re λ)gw)+λwg w) > β 0 β <,0 λ <, w U). The classes G Σ β,λ) G Σ α,λ) were introduced studied by Murugusundaramoorthyet al. see Definition Definition in [8]). Also if we choose λ = 0, G Σ β,0) : G Σ β) G Σ α,0) : G Σ α).these classes are called bi-starlike functions of order β strongly bi-starlike functions of order α, respectively. The classes G Σ β) G Σ α) were investigated studied by Brannan Taha [?] see Definition. Definition.). If we set λ = 0 in Definition, then the class S λ Σ m ϕ) reduces to the class S ϕ Σ m defined by below: Definition 3 A function f Σ m is said to be in the class S ϕ Σ m if the following conditions are satisfied: f Σ m, zf z) fz) wg w) gw) where the function g = f given by 6). ϕz) 0 λ <, z U) ϕw) 0 λ <, w U) 6
Remark 4 In the case of m = in Definition 3, it is interesting that, also for α) λ = 0, the classes SΣ λ + β)z z ) SΣ λ +z z) lead the class δ α Σ β) of bi-starlike functions of order α δ Σβ) of bi-starlike functions of order β, respectively. For m f old symmetric ananlytic bi-univalent functions, Altınkaya Yalçın[] defined investigatedthe function classess Σm β,λ) S Σm α,λ) as following. A function f Σ m is said to be in the class S Σm α,λ) if the following conditions are satisfied: ) arg zf z) λ)fz)+λzf < απ 0 < α,0 λ <, z U) z) arg λg w) λ)gw)+λwg w) ) < απ 0 < α,0 λ <, w U). In the same way, the function f Σ m is said to be in the class S Σm β,λ) if the following conditions are satisfied: zf ) z) f Σ, Re λ)fz)+λzf > β 0 β <,0 λ <, z U) z) wg ) w) Re λ)gw)+λwg w) where the function g = f given by ). > β 0 β <,0 λ <, w U) Theorem 5 [] Let f given by 4) be in the class S Σm α,λ), 0 < α. Then a m+ a m+ α m λ) α+ α m λ) + m+)α m λ). Theorem 6 [] Let f given by 4) be in the class S Σm β,λ),0 β <. Then a m+ β) m λ) a m+ β) m λ) + m+)α m λ). 7

Then there are analytic functions u : U U v : U U, with u0) = v0) = 0, satisfying the following conditions: zf z) λ)fz)+λzf z) = ϕuz)) λg w) λ)gw)+λwg w) = ϕvw)). 8) Using the equalities ), 3) in 8) comparing the coefficient of 8), we have m λ)a m+ = b m, 9) m λ) [ a m+ λm+)a m+] = B b m +B b m, 0) m λ)a m+ = c m, ) m λ) [ +m λ))a m+ a m+)] = B c m +B c m. ) From 9) ) we find that Adding 0) ), we get b m = c m. 3) m λ) a m+ = b m +c m )+B b m +c m). 4) using the relation 9) 3) in 4), we have m λ) a m+ = b m +c m )+ B m λ) a m+. Next, in order to find the bound on a m+, by subtracting ) from 0), we obtain 4m λ)a m+ = mm+) λ)a m+ +b m c m ). 7) Then, in view of 9),3) 7), applying the inequalities in ) for the coefficients p m,p m q m q m,we have a m+ m+) m λ) ) B 3 m λ) [ + B B ] + m λ) which implies the assertion 7).This completes the proof of Theorem 7. For λ = 0, we can state the following corollary: Corollary 8 Let f given by 5) be in the class S Σm ϕ). Then a m+ a m+ { m+ m B ) m, B m B B + 8) B 3 m [+ B B B ] + m), m m+ < m m+ 9) For one fold symmetric functions, we obtain the following corollaries: Corollary 9 If the function f Σ is in the class of SΣ λ ϕ) = G ϕ,ϕ Σ γ), then a 3 ) λ) a B λ) B B + 30) B 3 B B + λ), for λ λ), for B. < λ 3) λ) + B 9

Here, in this study, we will spesify the theorem concerning the Fekete- Szegö inequality for the class S λ Σ m ϕ).to improve the result, especially Theorem., we consider Fekete-Szegö inequality for the class S λ Σ m ϕ). This kind of studies has been made by many authors. The results regarding this problem are given in the works of [6], [], [4], []. The conclutions given in the study are not sharp, but, unfortunatelly, there isn t any method giving sharp results as regards these problems. Theorem 6 Let f given by 4) be in the class S λ Σ m ϕ). For m-fold symmetric functions, if we choose λ = 0 in the Theorem 6, we obtain the following corollary: Corollary 7 Let f given by 4) be in the class S Σm ϕ). Then { am+ γa m+ 4m for 0 hγ) < m hγ) for hγ) 4m 4) where ) m+ γ B hγ) = m B B ) For one-fold symmetric functions, we can state the Fekete-Szegö inequality for the class S λ Σ ϕ) as following:

In this study, we have composed of several new subclasses of m-fold symmetric bi-univalent analytic functions by means of subordination. For functions belonging to the clsssess introduced here, we have obtained inequalities on the Taylor Maclaurin coefficients a m+ a m+. Also, for functions contained these classes, we find Fekete-Szegö inequalities we have made some connections to some of earlier known results.
