Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: 1. Draw free body diagrams for problems in statics. 2. Identify forces and moments that a body experience. 3. Identify and use the correct method and equations for static equilibrium problems. 4. Analyze simple structures, frames and machines and friction problem. 5. Compute the centroid, center of mass and moments of inertia of a body.
