1 Adlai E. Stevenson High School Course Description Content Objectives: By the end of this course, students will be able to: Display & analyze data using appropriate statistical techniques. Identify functions. Rate of change. Simplify and evaluate algebraic expressions. Simplify exponential expressions. Solve and graph linear equations (in one and two variables).. Solve and graph linear inequalities (in one and two variables) and solve absolute value equations. Solve and graph quadratic equations. Solve systems of equations by graphing and algebraic methods. Use and apply polynomial operations. Use multiple representations to describe and analyze mathematical situations. Write and graph equations of lines.
