24 Now at HERMES: transversity h 1 (x) Unmeasured polarised structure function world premier through azimuthal asymmetry of the produced hadrons: semi-inclusive DIS beam If quark is massless, h 1 ~ g 1 Quark mass effect to spin Valence/sea separation: h1 ~ x( δq δq) p p Expect A ~ A (both mainly from u) First result: largely negative: unexpected Disfavoured fragmentation u-quark π?
