2 Spirit Guides 2 SPIRIT GUIDES Have you ever heard someone whisper in your ear at the moment you most needed it? You may have thought it was just your imagination, but in times of stress, in your hour of need, you may have called out for help and a being from another realm heard you and responded. You have spirit guides who are always available for you, whether you believe in them or not. You can connect to these guides, these beings who want to help you, and you can eventually help others to connect to their spirit guides. My live online course on spirit guides will help you get in touch with the different types of guides that are available: ancestral guides, professional guides, spirit animals, angels, ascended masters/spirit guides, and best of all, guidance from your own Higher Self. You will learn to open the inner doorways and connect to the guides who are waiting for you. Spirit guides are infinite in number. Some guides once walked the earth, as you do at this time. They are not ghosts; they are beings who have chosen to work as teachers and guides. Other guides have always lived in the unseen realms. Both types love to help you along your path. Of course, you should never hand over control of your life to any of them. You are responsible for your own life. But spirit guides are there to help, and who among us doesn t need a friendly whisper in our ear from time to time? You may have been aware of at least one of your guides when you were a child. Did you have an invisible friend? who was there for you... at least

3 Spirit Guides 3 until you outgrew such foolishness (according to your parents)? When you get in touch with your guides now, they will stay with you as long as they wish. What can spirit guides do for you? Spirit guides have different functions. Some are teachers who are there for your spiritual development, to help with the lessons you are here to learn. Some are healers; others are protectors (especially your animal guides). Some are gatekeepers, guarding you against negative energies. All are there to uplift you and bring you happiness and joy.

4 Spirit Guides 4 How do you communicate with your guides? Communication is usually telepathic, through your thoughts. Thought is an energy that is received and understood by guides and they will respond energetically, sending you thoughts, the same way they received your communication. You may hear them (clairaudience), see imagery or archetypes or the being (clairvoyance), feel (clairsentience) or observe them during meditation or while dreaming, or by learning how to focus and listen to the messages they transmit (channeling). You must be willing to leave behind your logical thinking mind and be open to the spiritual realms. The more you practice raising your frequency to the plane of consciousness where you can perceive your guides, the easier it gets. Find the most reliable method for you of connecting to your higher consciousness. For some, that is through meditation, but it can be whatever works for you to become sensitive to your energy. Using your internal vision, what does your own energy look like? How far does it extend? Next, invite your spirit guide or guides to come to you now. What do you notice? Can you tell what direction they come from? What side of you are they on? Do you see or hear them, or sense their presence? Can you tell if they are male or female (or androgynous), what clothes they are wearing, their coloring? What do you notice about their energy? How does your energy change as they approach?

5 Spirit Guides 5 As you invite them to sit with you, begin a conversation with them telepathically. What do they want you to call them? Is there a particular signal that will call them again? Thank them for communicating with you. Instruct your subconscious mind to continue to give you more information about this communication in the days and weeks to come. Trust your gut! If you are calling out to the spirit realm for your guides, trust your instincts about who shows up. Just like meeting someone in the physical body, if you don t like the way they act or what they say, don t hang out with them. Watch out if the guide is busy stroking your ego, makes you fearful, or comes to you for help. Your true guides love you and care about your growth and that you achieve what you came here to do (which probably doesn t include winning the lottery).

6 Spirit Guides 6 The Different Types of Guides Ancestral Guides These are guides in your own family tree, perhaps someone you knew and loved and trusted. Or they can come from far back in your family lineage and are connected to you by blood but you never met them. They are there to watch out for their descendants. Ancestral guides are very helpful for practical matters in your daily life. Professional Guides These guides were experts in their field while on earth and can offer professional advice, whether you need them to help you pass a math exam or to grow a better rosebush.

7 Spirit Guides 7 Power Animals Spirit animals tend to come to people who are deeply connected with nature, like those from indigenous communities who are more closely connected to the Earth. Your old beloved pet might have wanted to stay close by you, or the animal can be a full spirit guide with wisdom to share. Animal guides can be messengers, shadow guides, journey animals, or life guides. Angelic Guides The Hebrew word for angel is malach, which means a messenger or worker of God a good definition of an angel. There are nine celestial orders of angels from Christianity and the 72 Names of God from the Kabbalah are angelic presences. You have at least two Guardian Angels who are ready to help you whenever you ask.

8 Spirit Guides 8 Ascended Masters/Spiritual Guides These are Master Teacher guides from various lineages. Your particular gurus or spiritual mentors are there to help you fulfill your spiritual contract. Some may be highly evolved ascended masters (like Jesus or Buddha or a prophet). Other spiritual guides are masters of a particular facet of spiritual life. They are there to guide you to Oneness. Guidance from Your Higher Self One of your most important guides is your Higher Self. Guidance from your higher self is a powerful source of valid information. You can develop your intuitive insight so you ll know how to listen to that still small voice within. You will learn to connect in depth with your guides during the course see you there!
