13 ARPAST requested the investigation at this location because of the large collection of antiques that were present. There were eight investigators present. Digital cameras, digital recorders, FLIR EX-320 Thermal Imaging Camera, and the Box were Used. Baselines were done with using a Tri-Field Natural EM Meter, Kestrel 4500 Pocket Weather Tracker, Air Ion Counter, Fluke Digital Radiation Counter, and the MetOne Dust Check. All readings were within normal range.

14 A thirty minute session was done with The Box. ARPAST received a few interesting responses while using the box but nothing that could be validated. The investigation lasted about three hours. 124 digital photos were taken. No photographs of evidentiary value were taken during this investigation. No EVPs were captured. No data was acquired that could be considered paranormal in nature during this investigation.

15 Private Residence Investigation Little Rock, AR 2/21/2009

16 Description of Activity Occurred ~ Heard footsteps walking around the house ~ Heard animal noises when their dog is asleep ~ Saw apparitions of a little girl and a man ~ Felt there are two spirits in the house ~ Activity had occurred more since putting in new windows, new backyard patio, and remodeling the whole house

17 The homeowner requested ARPAST to do an investigation here because of the amount of activity occurring. There were twelve investigators present. Digital cameras, digital recorders, FLIR Thermal Imaging Camera, Eight Cameras, and White Noise Generators were used. Baselines were done with using a Tri- Field Natural EMF Meter, Kestrel 4500 Pocket Weather Tracker, Air Ion Counter, Fluke Digital Radiation Counter, and the MetOne Dust Check. All readings were within normal range.

18 The investigation lasted about six hours. 137 digital photos were taken. No photographs of evidentiary value were taken during this investigation. Two (2) possible EVPs were captured in the Master Bedroom. 32 Hours of video were recorded during this investigation. There was no video of value captured. No data was acquired that could be considered paranormal in nature during this investigation.

52 Description of Activity Occurring ~ Sounds of a child running down the hallway upstairs ~ Feeling of a presence in the baby s room upstairs ~ Heard mumblings sounds and loud thumps throughout house ~ Heard backdoor open late one night/doors are dead-bolted ~ Master Bedroom light had came on a couple times the same night

53 Investigation Setup ~ 8 Investigators were present during investigation. ~ Investigation Time: 7:00 pm 12:30 am ~ Kestral, K2 Meters, EMFs, Air Ion & Carbon Monoxide ~ 4 Cameras were set up in Master Bedroom, Upstairs Hallway, Baby s Room and 11 Years Old Room ~ Was noted that the hot water heater was located in a closet under the staircase.

54 Personal Experiences by Investigators ~ During the initial interview with the homeowner/renters, a few investigators thought they heard two thump-like noises upstairs. ~ No other personal experiences was reported.

55 Investigation Summary Number of Digital Pictures Taken: 250 Minutes of Audio Used: Unknown Minutes of Video Taken: 3hrs x 4 cameras = 12 Hours Number of Positive Photos: Unknown Number of EVPs Recorded: 0 It was noted that the ground wire for the electrical box was laying on the ground. The EMF readings were very high around the electrical box. There was also very high EMF readings in the attic by the air conditioner unit. No data was acquired that could be considered paranormal in nature.

60 Summary of Investigation The investigation started at 9:00 pm with setting up cameras in the submarine and in the museum. Rotations began at 10:00 pm. Three teams of four people were deployed to three locations. East and West Ends of Submarine and Museum. The first two rotations no paranormal activity was reported by none of the teams.

61 For the third rotation, everyone gathered in the museum to do a session with the The Box. After a few questions, the questions were being answered by very distinct knocking. The knocking would come after certain questions were asked. Examples: Can you knock once for yes please? Answer was one knock. Did something happen to you here? Answer was one knock. Do you mind us being here? Answer was two knocks.

62 Then the questions were being answered through the box. Examples: Did you touch someone? Nope Were you on the crew on the sub? Yes Did you take the picture? Yes Larry s camera took a picture by itself. When Larry asked if it took the picture. It answered yes. A couple of the investigators thought that they heard someone whisper in their ear. One investigator thought they were touched.

63 The rotation in the museum lasted about an hour. Throughout the whole hour, sometimes the questions were answered by knocking. Other times, they were answered through the box and sometimes both were used to answer the questions. There were about 40 evps captured tonight. 30/40 were the knocking.

64 There were regular noises and bumping made by the barge itself and by the gang plank outside the back door. But there was definitely distinct knocking that most likely was not made by the barge or anything hitting the barge underneath. They were too distinct and always were preceded by a question. The answers that were captured by the digital recorder are subjective. They are audible but not sure if they are actual proof that there is paranormal activity there. Ones interpretation of the audio can be debunked by stating that is the radio waves that are being broke up are coming through by coincidence at the exact time a question is asked. There is definitely something unusual going on in the museum/barge. Is it paranormal activity? Too early to say but definitely the activity that occurred tonight does warrant another investigation!

66 Investigation Setup ~ 11 Investigators were present during investigation. ~ Investigation Time: 7:00 pm 2:30 am ~ Kestrel, K2 Meters, EMFs, Air Ion, FLIR Camera ~ 8 Cameras were set up throughout the three buildings ~ Mudtruck Television Crew was present during investigation filming live. Personal Experiences by Investigators During first rotation, April got scratched down her back. During second rotation, Louise felt something brush her legs.

70 AR TUBERCULOSIS SANATORIUM BASEMENT ACTIVITY REPORTED DURING INVESTIGATIONS 5/24/ :01 PM An investigator was suddenly cold when everyone else was fine or hot. 10:08 PM Kestrel shut off 10:10 PM Three investigators smelled vomit. 10:14 PM Temp is dropping; an investigator felt a cold spot between them and another investigator, as if a spirit of a cold child decided to sit between them. 10:17 PM Investigator got a severe chill. 10:45 PM An investigator heard noise after everyone left the room. Like something fell. Another investigator said nothing was out of place when they returned to the room. 10:45 PM Sounded like something fell in main back room 12:14 AM Sounded like metal was thrown at us from down the hall 1:45 AM Heard clicking on the furnace in room. Like metal to metal 2:30 AM Basement East Side, heard a banging noise 8/30/ :05 PM Two investigators thought they saw a shadows 11:34 PM Slight draft was felt in the room 11:38 PM An investigator felt a breeze go across her face. 11:52 PM Everyone heard what sounded like heavy breathing 12:00 AM Shadows were seen again

71 BASEMENT ACTIVITY REPORTED DURING INVESTIGATIONS (cont) 11/22/ :25 PM An investigator's camera turned off and came back on all by itself 10:27 PM Investigator's camera clicked like it took a picture and it was sitting by itself on a table; and radio started acting up 10:32 PM An investigator had ringing in her ears. 10:38 PM Investigator's radio went crazy. 8/29/ :18 PM Heard tapping noises in the empty back room. Heard what sounded like someone sitting in an empty chair. On the East Side of the basement, heard what sounded like pebbles being thrown 11:00 PM Heard what sounded like a pebble come down the stairs. 11:15 PM Heard something hit a metal pan and an investigator saw it move. 9/12/2009 7:45 PM The tour group heard noises in basement while on tour.

72 BASEMENT ACTIVITY REPORTED DURING INVESTIGATIONS (cont) 10/9/2009 Heard rocks thrown in the tunnel room. A thermal image was above old washing machine. Heat signature went off by itself. A thermal image was also on a cash register. No one claimed to have touched it. Investigator gets a feeling of electric sensation and rock or pebble is thrown next to him. Investigators heard shuffling noises in room before the washing machine room. EMF Meter locked up at 8 and then changed to 11. Would not go back to normal. Heard something like a pebble being thrown against the wall in back room of basement. Heard something fall between the springs in same room. Also heard what sounded like pebbles being thrown in the washing machine room.

73 AR TUBERCULOSIS SANATORIUM 2ND FLOOR ACTIVITY REPORT DURING INVESTIGATIONS 5/24/ :34 AM Heard grunting 12:38 AM Heard grunting 12:38 AM Saw shadow move in east hallway. 12:40 AM Heard a noise close to where the camera is 12:45 AM Heard a noise in the far right staircase and went up to the next floor and no one was there 12:55 AM Heard footsteps 1:05 AM Heard pipes rattle behind team. 1:10 AM Heard a couple of loud rumbles from the east end 8/30/ :30 PM Shadow stepped out of #214 10:35 PM Heard steps or shuffling at east end of hallway 10:45 PM Heard movement in 220 9/12/2009 8:10 PM The tour group heard a high-pitched voice "hello" echoed by an investigator. 9:49 PM Heard a rock skipping down the hallway 11:05 PM Strange noises (like whispers) coming from the other end of hall. 11:13 PM Heard what sounded like a stone skipping down the floor.

74 2ND FLOOR ACTIVITY REPORT DURING INVESTIGATIONS (cont.) 10/9/2009 An investigator got very cold and had goose bumps around the girl's area. Investigator got his arm was pulled and he was pulled backwards. Group thought they heard a male's voice behind them while sitting on wooden table. Two investigator felt their hair get flicked. An investigator thought they were touched by something. Heard sounds of something being thrown. Investigator thought she could hear keys giggling. Investigator had tingling sensation in his legs. A bb fell or dropped from the ceiling during the Box session.

75 AR TUBERCULOSIS SANATORIUM 3RD FLOOR ACTIVITY REPORTED DURING INVESTIGATIONS 5/24/2008 9:50 PM Investigator thought he felt something touch the back of his neck. 10:40 PM 3 rd Floor East Side An investigator felt something touch his arm. 10:52 PM 11:00 PM Nurses Station, X-Ray Room, 3 rd Floor, heard noises like an air conditioner kicked on. Nurses Station, X-Ray Room 3 rd Floor, heard high-pitched sounds coming from the white noise during EVP. 12:40 AM Heard popping in hallway 12:47 AM Heard rattling in room 1:20 AM First room to the right as you walk in the cage. The radiator turned on, ran for a few minutes and turned off again. An investigator said only the radiators on the second floor were turned on. Earlier in the night, an investigator touched the radiator in the room next to the one mentioned above and it was room temperature after it shut off and said it was room temperature then. She felt a pressure and the dousing rods were crossed in room, the hallway and the room on the south side.

76 3RD FLOOR ACTIVITY REPORTED DURING INVESTIGATIONS (cont.) 1:40 AM While in cage, had severe feeling of being watched. Saw shadow come out of room. 1:40 AM Heard banging on the wall beside us. And heard it twice 2:30 AM Heard multiple loud thuds that sounded like it came from above 2:35 AM Heard what sounded like constant footsteps or a repetitive drum 3:15 AM Rock thrown from down the hall. Almost hitting two investigators. One investigator previously asked if the presence would show itself before we leave. We also ask one investigator if he had seen anything saying no right before the rock was thrown. We re-created the event with a similar sized rock but the one I threw shattered into pieces. 10/9/2009 Two investigators thought they heard moaning on the third floor. An investigator thought she felt someone rub the back of her neck. Group thought they heard the elevators running. Group thought they heard the sound of a little girl's voice. Group thought they heard the sounds of giggling noises.

77 AR TUBERCULOSIS SANATORIUM 4TH FLOOR ACTIVITY REPORTED DURING INVESTIGATIONS 5/24/2008 1:47 AM Elevator heard. No power to elevator 1:58 AM Heard elevator again. 2:06 AM Heard popping noise at the other end of hall. 2:10 AM Heard humming in the room across from elevators. The noise was coming from outside the window. Asked about A/C units and they were outside the window on the ground level. 2:21 AM Heard banging from above. Male moaning heard by camera 5 Larry also heard the male moaning by the cameras 2:25 AM We heard 3 loud noises on Floor 5, then we heard something run up stairs when there is no way anything can go up the stairs because there is no stairs that go up As we got to the top of the stairs and rounded the corner, the outside door to the left banged three times. I had to yank the door open using a lot of strength. Walk around the outside and nothing was there. Tried to re-create the door slamming and people on the 4 th floor could not hear it. Very little wind so it couldn t have been that. Next, we heard a couple of loud bangs on the door on the opposite end of the hall. We ran down there, past the camera and found that outside door partially cracked but I still have to use strength to open it. Tried to re-create but the people on the 4 th floor still could not hear it. Nothing to explain either banging.

78 4TH FLOOR ACTIVITY REPORTED DURING INVESTIGATIONS (cont.) 8/30/3008 8:55 PM An investigator felt a touch on back of my head a the top of the stairs on the 4 th floor during camera setup. 8/29/ :00 PM Two investigators heard three clicking sounds coming from one of the rooms. Heard a footstep sweeping the floor coming from the room An investigator felt her hand being touched very lightly up the inside of her pinky and then her palm. Then she felt the hair on top of her hand was being gently rubbed. 10/9/2009 Two investigators thought they heard footsteps. Investigator thought heard a little girl's voice and a man talking. An investigator saw a visual apparition by Room 445. Investigator felt cold spots. Several investigators get a very heavy feeling on this floor.
