9 Private Investigation Monticello, AR 12/5/2009

10 The homeowner requested ARPAST to do an investigation because of the amount of activity they were experiencing. There were seven investigators present. Digital cameras, digital recorders, FLIR Thermal Imaging Camera, and Five Cameras were used. Baselines were done with using a Tri- Field Natural EMF Meter, Kestrel 4500 Pocket Weather Tracker, Air Ion Counter, Fluke Digital Radiation Counter, and the Met One Dust Check. All readings were within normal range.

11 2 Story House with Walk-In Attic totaling 6000 Sq. Ft. Built in 1867 NO HEAT!!! Five space heaters in the whole house! All power outlets were overloaded. Either had 6 outlet plug or a power strip attached to them. The house had cloth wrapped wiring throughout the house. In the attic, the cloth wiring was sliced and new wiring was spliced.

12 The investigation lasted about three hours. 296 digital photos were taken. No photographs of evidentiary value were taken during this investigation. 15 Hours of video was taken during this investigation. There was no video of value captured. Three (3) possible EVPs were captured in the Melodie s Bedroom.

13 Activity Reported By Homeowners ~ Hearing banging noises, footsteps, balls bouncing, things falling down the stairs, furniture moving around and things being knocked over. ~ See shadows and pictures fly off the walls ~ Melodie hears footsteps in her room at night and feels a presence watching over her bed. ~ Attic key appeared on Melodie s floor (they did not get a key to the attic when they bought the home).

14 Investigation Summary There were very high EMF readings throughout the house but particularly in Melodie s Room.

15 Audio Findings There were three evps captured on the digital recorders. All three evps were captured in Melodie s Room. Yep Amanda, April and Melodie were in Melodie s Room talking about the high emfs and April was explaining how she gets dizzy and a headache occurs around high emfs. She then stated she was starting to feel dizzy and a voice said yep was captured on the digital voice recorder. The voice was not Amanda or Melodie s. Scratches on the Door Larry and April were upstairs in the attic looking at the wiring for the house. Amanda and Melodie were sitting on the bed when they heard a scratching noise on the bedroom door. There was nobody on the 2nd story foyer. Doorknob Rattling and Footsteps - April and Larry were still up in the attic looking at old newspapers. Amanda and Melodie were sitting in Melodie s room when they heard the doorknob rattle. The digital recorder captured footsteps right after Amanda said she heard doorknob rattle. There was nobody walking around in the room or in the attic.

16 Personal Experiences by Investigators First Rotation ~ April s camera flashed by itself while camera was shut off while in the Master Bedroom. ~ At the same time, Marc s camera shut off with new batteries in it. The camera had low batteries when the camera was turned back on. Joel s flash would not work on his camera. They were in downstairs in the Living Room. ~ Larry and homeowners heard a high-pitched bell sound while in the kitchen. ~ Tom s batteries went low while in Melodie s Room but went back to full power after leaving her room.

17 Personal Experiences by Investigators Second Rotation ~ Marc s camera shut off while in the Master Bedroom. ~ Marc had his left arm touched when he re-entered the room after getting new batteries. ~ Marc saw the nightlight get blocked out for a moment. ~ April got felt weird and dizzy while in Melodie s Room (probably due to high EMFs). ~ April felt something sit down beside her on bed twice. ~ Amanda saw an image of a pair of legs beside the bed on the FLIR Camera. ~ Amanda felt like something was bumping the bed. ~ Amanda felt something run its fingers through her hair. ~ Something scratched on the door in Melodie s Room. *EVP CAPTURED* ~ Doorknob Rattled in Melodie s Room. *EVP CAPTURED* NOTHING REPORTED THIRD ROTATION!!!!!
