2 Far far away in a monstrous forest called the Mystical woods, there lived a happy family called the Monsters. The monster kids are Mia and Molly and their little brother is Mohawk. Mia and Molly are monster twins. Mrs Monster love watching their children play monster ball. Monster ball is their favourite. The monsters all love watching the monstrously monsters monster ball team on the telly. The monsters live in a dark cave but come out at day just like us. One dark meisty night before bed the monsters went outside to have a family game of monster ball. Mia and Molly were in a team and mrs monster and mohawk were in another., and mr Monster was the ref. Before the game started Mia saw a glowing light that glowed brighter than the moon. She asked Molly if she would come and see the piece of glowing light. Of course Molly said yes. Mia and Molly 1

3 So the twins walked into the mystical woods and followed the light. The glowing light got brighter and brighter until Ahh thud!! Mia turned around. Molly was gone! Mia walked forward two small steps, and called Molly s name with a quivery voice. Thud!! Mia had dropped down a big secret underground passageway. She walked forward a few meters and saw Molly. Are you OK she asked. Yes just a few bruises replied Molly. They saw a small hole in the tree they could just fit in through the hole. The twins climbed into tree and saw a small man sitting by a glowing rock thingy majiggy. Helloooooooo said the little man in a cheerful voice. Hello said the twins. The little man had pointy ears and he was wearing a dark green coat, and wore little black shoes with points on the ends. I am the magical tree elf of the mystical woods. I grant wishes Elf guy 2

4 How do you grant your wishes? asked Molly very politely. I use my magical crystal said the elf. It s very magical. Where is your magical crystal? Asked Mia. In the little dome over there on the small table over there. The crystal glowed brighter than the sun. it looks very magical said Molly. Suddenly A big bird came in through the door. The door frame broke to pieces and potions fell to the floor with great big smashes. HOPPER WHOPPER yelled the elf! Whats a Hopper Whopper asked Mia. a big bird that loves shiny things replied the elf. Its after the crystal shouted Molly. The bird hit the dome and grabbed the crystal with its sharp claws.then Molly flew up and bit the Hopper Whopper on the tail with her nicely brushed teeth. The bird squawked and dropped the crystal. Mia caught it. Here you go elf said Mia as she anded the crystal to the elf. Thankyou said the elf. In return I will grant you three wishes. So Mia and Molly made their wishes. Hopper Whopper 3

5 Because the twins had just had the greatest adventure ever they made one wish for Mohawk and one each for Mr and Mrs Monster. So the elf waved his hands over the dome, he said the wishes and kapoof the wishes were granted. Back at home the other Monsters were wondering why Mohawk had all of a sudden grown a sharp pointy mohawk mohawk. Why Mrs Monster had a new purse and why Mr Monster could now whistle. Then suddenly from out of nowhere came Mia and Molly. Everyone was so happy the threw a party with all their friends and family. At the party there were tall monsters short ones fat ones skinny ones. Little ones fat ones cheeky ones and also sleepy ones. The party was a blast but nobody knew how Mohawk grew a mohawk, mrs Monster got a purse and Mr Monster could whistle. 4
