1 TO: Dennis Lapoint CC: FROM: Eriaan Wirosono DATE: April, 20 th 2014 SUBJECT: Exploration activity report March-April 2014_EW MEMO 1. Highlights and Productivity Overview pan sampling on target Areas 1 and 2. Some gold dispersion has been detected especially in target 2 Channel sampling and Trench Mapping conducted on previous Trenches resp. 8, 9 and 27 has revealed some interesting geological features in this area. PANSAMPLING RESULTS A total of 19 locations were sampled during the period, mostly within the drainages in target- 1 as depicted in figure 2. Mechanical failures on the ATV and other logistical issues slowed progress. Results indicate that the highest values are recovered in target 2 with value as high as 23 gold colors. The area in target-2 is characterized by steep hills which exhibit a ferruginous clay soil on surface surrounded by lower topographical relief with exposures of large boulders of Leuco-granite can be observed. Furthermore evidence of shear deformation was also recorded striking 320 degrees and dipping steeply. Target-1 has only shown minor indication of gold colors within the drainages sampled as shown in figure2. The present of gold mineralization in this region has also been confirmed by previous soil geochemistry, done along the ridges of the hills. (see figure 2)
2 The following outcrops were encountered in this area. 1. Intermediate to mafic volcanics, showing often pahoehoe lava flow foliation intercepted within and near the banks of the Tibiti River. 2. Quartzite boulders on slope area 3. Boulders of Quartz Arenite to the west. No old or new pk workings were encountered within the drainages of both target areas. 5 TRENCH SAMPLING Channel sampling has also been conducted across shallow dipping geological features exposed especially within Trench 08. Additionally some channel samples are from Quartz veins or other significant structural features that were not sampled in previous work. TRENCH: TR08A Trench TR08A is located in the NW corner of Trench TR08 on a hill top. Exposures on the wall show shallow dipping, slightly folded strongly oxidized to hematic layers within massive ferruginous host rock. These layers shows no evidence or remnants of quartz veins. Vertical channel sampling was conducted across these structures and 17 samples were collected in total. Saprolite encountered indicates the presence of mafic intrusive to volcanics in this area. TRENCH: TR08 The first 13 meter of the most southern part of Trench 08 consist primarily of a reddish ferruginous massive clay soil with the presence of some laterite nodules and pisoliths. To the north, gradually indication of saprolite could be distinguished mainly on the lower half of the wall and are described as purple to red brownish saprolite occasionally with yellow spots. The texture and color can be related to intermediate to mafic fine grained volcanic units,. Porphyry Andesite may also be present as indicated by the more course-grained textural features. A small interbed of mudstone has been noted between 109 and 110 meters and seems to be overlain by pyroclastic units.. Bedding of mudstone striking 170o dipping 45o to the west. Evidence of deformation is indicated by the occurrences of localized boudinated, sheared small quartz veins and strongly foliated fabric between 47 and 55 meters. Shear fabric is oriented 325 o dipping at 50 degrees to the east. The presence of Quartz veining occurs in small amounts, cm in size without any major alteration. Of the 182 samples previous collected, a total of 18 were reported to contain over 0.1 g/t gold with the highest values of 0.35 g/t and these are listed in Table 1 below. The best values seem to have been collected within the volcanic portion of the Trench. The veins vary in thickness from one to several cm in size showing in many cases evidence of ductile-brittle deformation.

The southern eastern part of the Trench starts within the volcanic unit alternating between fine grained andesite and porphyry andesite with some intercalations of pyroclastic tuffs. At 39 meters to north-west, a sharp contact with the sediments can be observed showing evidence of shear deformation. Contact recorded to be oriented at 210 o and shallow dipping at 25 o. The sediments are primarily graywackes grading to more mudstone units towards NW and are clearly evident by its dark grayish color showing alternating beds. From 176 meters, lithology changing again to volcanic until the end with the last meters mostly composed of ferruginous massive to pisolithic clay soil with some presence of duricrust boulders. Shear and folding deformation structures are very common and can be distinguished at several intervals. Shear fabric is localized and mostly located at the contact between the different units occasionally occurring with bleached alteration zones while variation in bedding orientation in mudstone units indicates folding in the area. Some interesting shear oxidized quartz veins were intercepted at several intervals in Trench 09.
7 Of the 148 samples previous collected by author Only 7 samples were reported to contain over 0.1 g/t gold with the highest values of 0.35 g/t and these are listed in Table 1 below. The best values seem to have been collected within the volcanic region of the Trench. The veins varies in thickness from one to several cm in size showing in many cases evidence of ductile-brittle deformation. In between the mafic intrusion the same folded like feature could also be seen within the mafic intrusion but are more fine grained to porphyritic texture. On one location, a strong foliated fabric could be seen between the intrusive and volcanic unit, possibly due to faulting or shearing. Occurrences of boudinage to slightly brecciated quartz veins are additional evidence to this. Previous assay results have indicated part of the intrusion shows gold values even though no quartz veining were intercepted. Dark fine irregular crosscutting bands are though present sometimes with relics of boxwork of sulfide. Although several quartz veins were intercepted by channel sampling only 4 samples were reported to contain over 0.1 g/t gold with the highest values of 0.3 g/t and these are listed in Table 1 below. The best interval seems to have been collected in close proximity to the younger mafic intrusives.
