10 11. In 1912, Albert Wegener published a paper on Continental Drift. He believed that all of the land on Earth was once a super continent called Pangaea. ther scientists did not. He was a meteorologist (weather forecaster). The continent shapes fitted together like a jigsaw, and rock types matched.
