5 Pendahuluan Buletin Khas Geologi Petroleum Jilid IV ini mengandungi 7 kertas. 5 kertas telah dibentangkan di Seminar Geologi Petroleum Persatuan 1988 pada 5 dan 6hb. Disember kertas lagi merupakan sumbangan daripada SHELL, satu daripada Seminar Geologi Petroleum 1986 dan yang satu lagi daripada Seminar Geologi Petroleum Persatuan mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua syarikat petroleum dan servis yang telah memberikan masa dan sokongan kepada pekelja-pekerjanya untuk menyediakan kertas-kertas mereka. Kesudian PETRONAS dari segi membenarkan penerbitan kertas-kertas SHELL amat dihargai. Preface This Fourth Special Bulletin on Petroleum Geology contains 7 papers. 5 papers were presented at the Society's Petroleum Geology Seminar 1988, held on the 5th and 6th December In addition, the volume contains 2 papers from SHELL, one from the Petroleum Geology Seminar 1986 and the other from the Petroleum Geology Seminar The Society expresses its gratitude to the various oil companies and service organisations for allowing their personnel concerned the time and support to prepare their valuable papers and also to PETRONAS for the excellent cooperation and the release of papers that required their approval. In addition the Society records its thanks to the many donors and advertisers for their valuable contribution to the Society's Publication Fund and the running of the Annual Petroleum Geology Seminars.
