Preface This Bulletin, the 26th in the Society's Bulletin series contains 15 papers. The majority of the contributions (10 papers) were presented at the Society's Annual Geological Conference 1989, held on the 14 & 15th January 1989 at Merlin Inn Resort, Cameron Highlands. In addition we greatly appreciate the contributions from overseas from K.F.G. Hosking and M.O. Schwartz (2 papers) and those locally from P.C. Aw (2 papers). The Society is indeed grateful to all contributors for their valuable papers.
