GeoConsultancy Center (GCC) puts at the disposal of its clients a variety of specialized services and modern technology in several areas, particularly in the areas of geology (Earth Science) and Geophysics (Physics of the Earth) and environmental studies. GCC has experts working in this field for more than two decades, the center experts completed studies on underground resources, and sedimentary rocks of carbon and minerals of various kinds, as well as studies related to quarry sand, at the national and international level. These studies completed for selected large companies who are active in the field of exploitation of quarries and mines. Given the importance of these studies and economic and social repercussions, the center is a partner of a high caliber of workers in this field, particularly in the context of pushes forward the socio-economic development at the national level. The center provides to its customers the monitoring sites, analysis of mining operations, the implementation of geological maps and details of structural, services include the proposed operations and methods of treatment and exploitation of minerals and development of facilities to meet the particularities of each processing unit minerals. Moreover, GCC participates in the analysis and improvement of manufacturing processes. In this area, the center works to develop a wide range of discoveries for the backup resources of minerals and quarrying, mining, and reserves the sediment useful and precious metals. The center located on a network of partners of people with high scientific expertise that will allow them to respond to the various consulting related to earth sciences. These experts in various disciplines put their expertise at the disposal of the office to keep up with the needs of the market. Among the most important services provided by the Center: Geological and mineral resources studies Geophysical studies Studies of mining and quarrying Environmental Studies Mediation in the sale and purchase of chrome
Geological and mineral resources studies: On mining research and exploitation sector of minerals useful, the main role of GCC is to provide preparation of geological maps, representation of layers, preparation of geological crosssection data collection through and detailed analysis. In addition, the GCC collects the samples and data related to mining by geophysical and geochemical studies, to be stored in an integrated system for database management in the context of geographic information systems. Related studies carried out mainly on the following themes: Geology, the study of underground resources, and mapping. Resource assessment and calculation of reserves. Representation and interpretation of data. The GCC works on developing a leader skills and techniques in the discovery of mines, metals and gem stones in the complex conditions through the use of advanced technologies in this field.
Studies of mining and quarrying: GCC participates in various stages of mining projects, from the early stages of investigation and initial exploration until exploitation mining. The GCC ensures follow-up workshops to its clients, analysis of mining works, directed the development and completion of periodic reports, geological maps, structural classes for detailed geophysical, and interpretation of data. Although it takes care of various handling operations and the drafting of contracts for the partnership and shares in companies operating in this area. The services proposed by GCC on the actors in the areas of mines and quarries: 1 - On the stages of exploration and mining research, the GCC's role as an office-centered engineering consultancy on the following themes: Study the development and exploration projects, the industrial unit design and engineering of appropriate primary, and lay the foundations for the project and its management and development. Geological studies and mining (maps and the development of the database). Economic technical studies for industrial projects for transferring valuable materials The environmental impact study and site rehabilitation. Find solutions to various problems that arise in the mining area of research. Follow-up research programs in the mining and construction research bodies. Preparation of geological and mining research, planning and coordination. Analyze and evaluate the research programs of geological and mining companies. Estimate the mineral resources inventory, both in the process of exploitation of existing or newly discovered, and to develop plans to exploit. The preparation of submissions to the Articles mining programs in order to achieve publicity.
2 - On the techniques of exploitation mines and quarries of sand, GCC participates with the following: Analysis of studies on the extraction of minerals. Find solutions to problems raised in the context of mining exploitation. Follow the development of mining production and planning for sustainability of resources. The study of production programs for companies and mining contractors. Prepare notes, publications and technical data relating to exploitation for near-term and long term. 3 GCC gives a paramount importance to environmental problems and the preservation of natural resources and mining, GCC roles as an engineering consultant and works in the following: Find solutions to environmental problems that arise from the mining activities. Issuing opinions with respect to any mining project to international standards of environmental. The formulation of policies in the field of pollution and environmental protection. Assess the extent of the mining companies respect environmental standards. Follow-up rehabilitation of abandoned mining sites
Geophysical studies: GCC works to provide geophysical services all in order to get the results required for the construction of mining facilities, mining projects, agricultural and industrial development in any area. In this framework, GCC seeks to complete multiple studies in various parts of the Sultanate, that relate mainly to the following areas: Geophysical studies for the establishment of exploration drilling. Research and exploration of groundwater for water supply. Mineral exploration value. Studies on the establishment of buildings and roads. GCC has experts working in the field of geophysical for more than fifteen years, the experts carried out projects in various areas as case studies of road construction, mineral exploration and environmental studies. GCC has the capacity to provide all services required for projects and geophysical studies.
Environmental Studies: GCC using many techniques of Earth Sciences to meet the increasingly complex problems faced the completion of the project in a particular area. Through these studies, the environmental result impact of projects can be obtained when creating industrial and agricultural - industrial and civil development in a particular area. Also, it can be well identified on the natural environment and its components and the impact of direct and indirect resulting from such projects. This includes specifically the following: Study sites and quarries of sand. Study the use of explosives. Management of natural resources. Excretory waste site. Laws relating to the use of persistent. Creating resources and using them. Rehabilitation of mine sites and quarries. develop a plan of follow-up.
Advantages of the services that we offer: 1) The efficiency of our stuff (engineers working in the field) 2) Low cost (Control of Works and detailed diagnosis) 3) Rapid intervention (recognizing the effects) 4) Field results (quick access to information) 5) The employs experience (the best group of collaborators) 6) Comprehensive coverage of the sites (Note complete) 7) The diversity of methods and approaches used (analysis methods) 8) Definition of physical indicators (recognizing the nature of the soil) 9) Revealed the thumb (lack of information is not confirmed, the identification of areas at risk, informed decisions) 10) Ensure non-interference in private affairs 11) The absence of intermediaries 12) Work experience in Oman for more than two decades 13) High reliability (check indicators and the extent of compliance) 14) Systems at the highest level of technological progress 15) Quality Control of the information (tribal tests, follow-up tests, after tests of achievement) 16) Deep investigations 17) Direct link with the customer (personal communication and uniqueness, diplomatic relations) 18) Professional responsibility (safety and insurance)
