Activity 2:- Make a chart showing different types of simple machines and their examples. Chapter 12, Soil Erosion and Conservation:- composition of soil, layers of soil, Agents of soil erosion Activity 1:- Take two pots. One having only soil and another having plant in the soil. Put them near a fan and observe. Chapter 11, Rocks and Minerals: -What are rocks?, different types of rocksigneous rock, sedimentary rocks, metamorphic rocks, minerals, petrol and natural gases, how to conserve natural resources? Activity 1:- Find out which Stone has been used for building the following monuments Taj Mahal Agra fort Red Fort and Gateway of India. Activity 2:- Visit the petroleum find out the rates of CNG related Patrol unleaded petrol and Diesel. Find out the changes in their rates in the last 2 months prepare a report. Activity 3:- Collect pebbles or pieces of smooth rocks. Paint them and use them as a paperweight. Activity 4:- Collect pictures of different monuments made up of rock make an attractive chart. Write the name of the monument and the rock it is made of.
