5 1.0 Summary Licence 15923M, consisting of 9 claims (225 ha), was acquired by Christina Keats for the KriASK syndicate in April The claim group is located immediately to the north, along the Appleton Linear of the Linear property also owned by the KriASK syndicate, where a number of visible gold and other occurrences, including the Dome, Road and Baseline/Keats, are known. The Dome Prospect, is a sigmoidal quartz vein system that assayed up to g/t gold over 8.60 metres in UCA DDH LG Drilling has outlined the zone over a 40 metre strike length and to depth of 50 metres. The Road showing gives values up to g/t gold over 2.7 metres (LG99-04) in drilling and up to 93.6 g/t gold over 1 metre in trench channel samples. At the Keats/Baseline Prospect, intercepts in 100 metre-spaced holes, LG99-11 and LG99-12, gave 16.3 g/t over 2.3 metres and 9.3 g/t Au over 1.6 metres. All of the gold bearing zones are in quartz veins systems and show moderate to strong sericite and iron-carbonate alteration of the host rocks with associated pyrite and lesser arsenopyrite. Visible gold (VG) is prevalent. The gold-bearing quartz veins display stylolitic textures with chlorite and/or arsenopyrite concentrations. The quartz veining occurs as vuggy tension-gash fillings, folded veins and irregular networks of breccia-style veinlets. Sulphide concentrations range up to 5% pyrite, 3% arsenopyrite with trace chalcopyrite, concentrated in wallrock inclusions, proximal to auriferous quartz veins. VG is sometimes associated with chalcopyrite. Exploration in 2009/2010 consisted of a limited prospecting program carried out by Allan Keats, and an assistant. A total of 7 grab rock samples were taken. The samples have not yet been analyzed however significant alteration consisting of sericitization and iron carbonate alteration associated with strong quartz veining was noted in all samples. One small (fist size) float located in Herman s Pond contained two sights of visible gold (VG). 1.0 Conclusions and Recommendations The Appleton Linear, which is associated with significant gold mineralization on the Linear property, located to the south of the Linear N property, continues through the property, extending further to the north along the Gander River. Significant alteration and quartz veining is noted on the Linear N property and soil geochemistry, carried out by United Carina Corporation (UCA) shows gold and arsenic anomalies on the property, most of which were only looked at cursorily by UCA. One sample carrying VG was noted on the property in limited prospecting. It is recommended: 1) the old UCA grid be refurbished and all lines should be prospected. 2) A new soil geochemical survey should be carried out over the property. 3) Any significant alteration / quartz veined areas should be trenched and sampled...1

7 2.0 Introduction The Linear North property was acquired by Christina Keats on behalf of the KriASK syndicate in February, 2009 when the property came open. The old United Carina baseline was located and limited prospecting was carried out in late 2009 and early This report describes and reports on the limited work carried out and is filed as an assessment report for the first year. The Assessment Expenditure sheet is appended as Appendix 1 and a list of personnel is provided in Appendix II. 3.0 Location, Access and Infrastructure The property is located near the community of Appleton in central Newfoundland, to the north of the Trans Canada Highway (TCH) and immediately to the south of the Gander River. It lies along a linear feature known as the Appleton Linear which extends from Gander Lake, through North and South Herman s Ponds and then along the Gander River towards Gander Bay. The property is approximately 4 to 5 km to the north of the TCH at Appleton. Access is provided by truck or quads along roads and quad trails that extend from the TCH and the NL T Railway northwards towards the Gander River or by boat down the Gander River from Glenwood / Appleton. A main powerline crosses the Linear Property, immediately to the south of the Linear North property, between North and South Herman s Ponds. 4.0 Description of Claims Licence 15923M, consisting of 9 claims, was staked by Christina Keats for the KriASK syndicate on February 24, 2009, with a recording date of March 226, The first year work report is due May 25, The KriASK syndicate consists of Krinor Resources Inc. of St. John s, NL (1/3 interest) and ASK Prospecting & Guiding Ltd. of Benton, NL. 9 6.0 Previous Work Gold exploration in the Gander area during the 1980 s and early 1990 s resulted in the discovery of several gold occurrences, including the Knob and Bullet Prospects, along the south-western extension of the Appleton Linear to the south of the Trans Canada Highway (TCH). Exploration was carried out to the north-northeast along the Appleton Linear in the same time period extending into the 2000 s, by Noranda, Gander River Minerals, the KriASK Syndicate, United Carina Corp., Candente Resources, and Rubicon / Paragon / Sprott Resources. Work has included prospecting, line cutting, soil geochemistry, ground geophysical surveys (VLF-EM, Magnetics, IP), trenching and diamond drilling which tested gold targets along the Linear including, among others, the Dome, Road, Lotto and Keats/Baseline Prospects. The Linear North property was only explored during the United Carina and Candente exploration phases when line cutting, soil geochemistry and minimal trenching was carried out. The first documented exploration in the area was carried out in 1987/88 by Noranda Exploration who carried out reconnaissance soil and till sampling along three widely spaced lines traversing the Appleton Linear area. Numerous highly anomalous gold values, up to 590 ppb Au, were reported in soil samples. Follow up resulted in visible gold being discovered by Fred Keats of Noranda in float on the east margin of South Herman s Pond. Prospecting by Calvin Keats in e 1993/94 resulted in gold values in grab samples from outcrop along the east side of South Herman s Pond. The KriASK syndicate acquired fifty claims over the area in 1998/99 and carried out limited exploration including prospecting and gold panning which resulted in the discovery of the Road and Dome showings. The property was subsequently optioned to United Carina Corporation ( ), Candente Resources Inc ( ), and Rubicon / Paragon / Sprott Resources ( ). United Carina Corporation (UCA) explored the property in 1999/2000 including: prospecting, soil geochemistry, ground VLF-EM, magnetic and IP surveys, trenching, channel sampling, and diamond drilling of 3650 metres in 36 holes. The work focused on the most promising areas east of Herman s Ponds, namely the Dome, Road, Keats/Baseline and Lotto Prospects. Coincident gold/arsenic and/or geophysical anomalies to the west of the Herman s Ponds were also tested by trenching on the Cokes, Little, Powerline, Trench 26 and others. At the Keats/Baseline Prospect, intercepts in 100 metre-spaced holes, LG99-11 and LG99-12, gave 16.3 g/t over 2.3 metres and 9.3 g/t Au over 1.6 metres. DDH LG99-20, located in the northern part of the Linear property, to the west of the Linear and the road, which tested a gold in soil anomaly which had been trenched earlier, intersected a zone, 24 m wide assaying 1.1 g/t Au. No further work tested this area...5

10 In 2002/03, Candente Resource Corp. carried out geological mapping, prospecting, geophysical surveys, structural interpretation, compilation, trenching and diamond drilling. Five drill holes, totalling 665 metres, tested the Dome (1) and Keats South (1) showings on the east side of the Linear and the Little (1) and Cokes (2) showings on the west side of the Linear and Herman s Ponds. Wide zones of lower grade gold mineralization were located in the Cokes zone including 7.4 m of 2.88 g/t and 3.97 m of 3.36 g/t Au with a number of zones of 1-2 m grading in the 1-3 g/t range. Rubicon Minerals Corporation / Paragon Minerals Corp. / Sprott Resources carried out core relogging, limited check geochemical (soil) sampling and grid and drill hole location surveys followed by 625 metres of diamond drilling in six holes (LG08-44 to LG08-49) in June / July 2008, which tested the Dome, Road and Keats/Baseline Prospects. The drilling wasn t successful in extending either the Dome or Road showings however the Keats/Baseline zone was extended with good intersections in both holes including 3.6 m of 2.92 g/t (including 1.2 m of 7.7 g/t) and 1.2 m of 6.7 g/t in LG and 1.1 m of 6.63 g/t (including 0.7 m of 10.1 g/t) in LG The zone has been extended over a 280 m strike length remaining open along strike and to depth...6

11 7.0 Regional Geology The Linear North Property lies in the Exploits subzone near the Eastern edge of the Dunnage Zone (Figures 1,3). Rocks of the Dunnage Zone consist of volcanic, volcaniclastic and sedimentary rocks of island-arc and back-arc affinity interpreted to represent vestiges of the Iapetus Ocean (Williams et al., 1988). Evolution of the Dunnage is divided into pre to synaccretionary and post-accretionary phases (Swinden, 1990). The initial Cambrian to Mid- Ordovician pre to syn-accretionary phase is marked by periods of volcanism and sedimentation in island-arc and back-arc basins. The syn-accretionary phase (initial closure of Iapetus Ocean) resulted in the structural emplacement of Notre Dame subzone units over the continent of Laurentia (Taconic Orogeny; Stevens, 1970) and the Exploits subzone units over the Gondwana continental margin (Penobscot Orogeny). Continued closure of Iapetus during the Late Ordovician to Early Silurian corresponds to a period of sedimentation in fault bound basins (Dean, 1978). Post-accretion activation and reactivation of large strike-slip faults led to deposition of Silurian fluviatile sedimentary and terrestrial volcanic rocks (Szybinski et al., 1990; Coyle and Strong, 1987). Siluro-Devonian deformation (Salinic orogeny) resulted in crustal thickening that caused regional greenschist and amphibolite grade metamorphism and crustal melting that resulted in widespread plutonism (Dean, 1978; Dallmeyer et al., 1983). Subsequent, possibly Alleghenian, Carboniferous faulting produced shallow pull-apart basins in which continental and shallow water sediments were deposited (Dean, 1978). Williams et al. (1993) coined the term Indian Islands Belt to include four major units between the Dog Bay Line and the GRUB (Gander River Ultrabasic Belt) Line. The major units are represented by ophiolitic, volcanic and sedimentary units of the Gander River Complex, the Davidsville Group, the Hamilton Sound Group, and the Indian Islands Group. The Linear North Property lies in the Ordovician Davidsville Group, an extensive, northnortheast trending belt of fine grained turbidites, locally interbedded with thick, coarse-grained greywacke units, which is interpreted to conformably overlie, and is imbricated with, the Gander River Complex. Rock units of the Davidsville Group include north-northeast trending, green, grey to black, slate and siltstone, greywacke, minor red slate and minor sandstone with the finer grained, thin bedded, sedimentary units displaying a strong, penetrative cleavage. The sedimentary units are intruded by linear, mafic to ultramafic, dikes that trend NNE and NNW and dip subvertically. Structural mapping by Calon and Buchanan (2004) and Buchanan (2005) indicates that a strong penetrative cleavage (S 1 ) overprints bedding (S 0 ) in the Davidsville Group. The S 1 cleavage is a consistent axial planar structure on the steep east limb of a large anticline. Variably plunging S 0 /S 1 intersection lineations reflect the doubly plunging nature of the regional F 1 fold with the average plunge of the F 1 folds being 38 o towards 028 o. Graded bedding from coarse to finegrained siltstone indicates that most of the beds are upright, although, locally bedding is overturned by the steep forelimb of the F 1 fold system. The S 1 cleavage is deformed by a weak kinking of the layers (F 2 ). The scale of F 2 kink folds varies from centimetre to metre wavelengths. Typically, the larger scale F 2 folds are proximal to significant, late faults, which cross-cut fabrics of the F 1 fold system.
