1 16 September 2016 Market Announcements Platform ASX Limited Exchange Centre 20 Bridge Street Sydney NSW 2000 Norseman Gold Exploration Programme Complete Auroch Minerals Limited (Auroch or the Company) is pleased to advise of the completion of reconnaissance mapping, rock chip and soil sampling programs at its wholly owned Beete Gold & Peninsula Gold Projects in Norseman, Western Australia. A total of 25 Hectares was mapped with 44 soil samples analysed, and 22 rock chip samples collected during the first week of September Results are expected in coming weeks. Reconnaissance mapping An area of 25 Hectares was mapped during the field program. East-West traverses were conducted across the tenements recording any outcropping lithology, alteration, and mineralisation. The historic workings on the Beete Gold Project (P63/1646) were visited and hand specimens collected for assay. Gold mineralisation is hosted within a narrow quartz vein, and sometimes in the adjacent hanging and/or footwall shear. The vein conforms closely to the attitude of the host lithology quartz-rich arenites and quartz-feldspar-amphibole schists. At the Peninsula Gold Project (P63/1694), mineralisation was observed to be associated with north-south trending quartz veins which dip at angles of degrees to the east. A major quartz reef extends for the length of the tenement. At the north end of the tenement the main reef appears to have been faulted, and the geology is complicated by drag folding associated with faulting. Soil sampling A total of 44 soil samples were collected and analysed by portable XRF (Niton XL3t Analyzer) from the Beete (Table 1) and Peninsula Gold Projects (Table 2). Samples were taken on a 150m x 50m grid across the tenements. Holes were excavated to 30 cm depth with the top 10 cm discarded. The sample was then sieved and the fine fraction (<2.80mm) collected. Finally, the fine fraction was analysed using "Test All Geo" mode which is suitable for rapid analysis of major, minor, and trace elements in geologic samples. The samples were analysed for 45 elements and data is currently being plotted and interpreted and will be released in the coming weeks

2 Rock chips A total of 22 rock chip samples were collected from the Beete and Peninsula Gold Projects and submitted to ALS Laboratories in Kalgoorlie (WA) for gold determination by 50g Fire Assay (Table 3). Additionally, the samples were analysed by portable XRF (Niton XL3t Analyzer). Rock chips were selected by identifying generally quartz rich and/or altered material from around old shafts/workings The sample was analysed using "Test All Geo" mode which is suitable for rapid analysis of major, minor, and trace elements in geologic samples. The samples were analysed for 45 elements and data is currently being interpreted. Gold assays by 50g Fire Assay are awaited from ALS Laboratories in Kalgoorlie (WA). Sampling techniques Reconnaissance rock chip sampling was undertaken across the tenements. Sampling targeted quartz veining (altered & ferruginised). Sample size was 2-3 kg per sample. A total of 22 rock chip samples were collected from P63/1646 and P63/1694 and submitted to ALS Laboratories in Kalgoorlie (WA) for gold determination by 50g Fire Assay. Additionally, the samples were analysed by portable XRF (Niton XL3t Analyzer). Rock chips were selected by identifying generally quartz rich and/or altered material from around old shafts/workings. No attempt was made to ensure representivity of the rock type sampled. Samples of material most likely to contain gold mineralization were targeted. Soil sample lines are oriented at right angles to the interpreted strike of mineralisation being sampled. A total of 44 soil samples were collected and analysed by portable XRF (Niton XL3t Analyzer) from P63/1646 and P63/1694. Sampling grid was 150m x 50m across the tenements. Holes were excavated to 30 cm depth, with the top 10 cm discarded. The sample was then sieved and the fine fraction (<2.80mm) collected. Drilling techniques N/A Drill sample recovery N/A Logging All rock chip samples were described and lithology recorded, and the majority were photographed. All soil samples were described for: colour, regolith, slope, erosional/depositional environment, and comments. Sub-sampling techniques and sample preparation Quality of assay data and laboratory tests Logging was qualitative and based on visual field estimates. No sub-sampling of rock chip samples. Samples are dried, crushed and pulverised to 85% passing 75 microns. This is considered to appropriately homogenise the sample to allow sub-sampling for assay determination. Soil samples were excavated to 30 cm depth, with the top 10 cm discarded. The sample was then sieved and the fine fraction (<2.80mm) collected. At reconnaissance stage sampling these techniques are wholly appropriate. Senior Geologist present during soil sampling to ensure representative samples taken. Reconnaissance rock chips were not representative. Soil samples were collected across the entire width of the tenement a bid to be representative. 2-3 kg is an appropriate sample size for rock chip samples targeting gold mineralisation. A total of 44 soil samples and 22 rock chip samples were collected and analysed by portable XRF (Niton XL3t Analyzer). Samples were analysed using "Test All Geo" mode for a duration of 60 seconds, which is suitable for rapid analysis of major, minor, and trace elements in geologic samples. The portable XRF reported 45 elements for each sample. 22 rock chip samples were submitted to ALS Laboratories in Kalgoorlie (WA) for gold determination by 50g fire assay with AAS finish (method Au-AA26). No standard, duplicate or blank samples were inserted for reconnaissance rock chip sampling. During soil sampling a Certified Reference Sample was analysed at the start and end of each day. 6 and assaying All field data is manually collected, entered into excel spreadsheets by Auroch staff, then validated and loaded into an Access database by Chief Geologist. Electronic data is stored on shared server (DropBox). Data is exported from Access for analysis and map making in MapInfo and Micromine. All electronic data is routinely backed up. No hard copy data is retained. Location of data points Rock chip & soil sample locations were picked up by handheld Garmin GPSmap 64. The preferred co-ordinates system used was MGA94 (Zone 51). Data spacing and distribution Orientation of data in relation to geological structure Topographic control was from Garmin GPSmap 64. This is adequate for locating reconnaissance rock chip and soil samples. Reconnaissance rock chips are not spaced regularly, but controlled by outcrop location and degree of exposure. Soil sample locations are on 150m x 50m spacing and were designed to intersect mineralisation at an optimum angle. At the end of the program, the 2-3 kg calico bags were placed in large plastic bags (10 per bag), clearly labeled, and delivered to ALS Laboratory in Kalgoorlie (WA) by Auroch staff. Mineral tenement and land tenure status P63/1646 Beete Gold Project is located approximately 55 kilometres south of Norseman, with P63/1694 Peninsula Gold Project located approximately 27 kilometres north of Norseman. Prospecting licenses P63/1646 & P63/1694 are 100% owned by Auroch. Exploration done by other parties P63/1646 o Gold was first discovered by H. P63/1694 o The Peninsula mine started in the late 1800 s. and intermittently throughout the 1900 s. Small scale open cut and underground mining has been. A trial open pit mining operation yielding a total of 424 tonnes of ore at 2.14 g/t Au. A decline was developed by central Norseman Gold Corporation Limited (CNGC) at the southern end of the project. A total of 495 tonnes at 1.62 g/t Au was mined. o CNGC drilled a total of 44 rotary percussion, reverse circulation and

7 diamond drill holes for 3,695m. CNGC calculated a reserve of 30,300 tonnes at 11.3 g/t for 11,413 ounces contained gold (non-jorc). o Australis Mining reassessed the CNGC data in 1984 and estimated a reserve of 36,000 tonnes at 8.2 g/t for 9,840 ounces contained gold (non- JORC). o Australis Mining Limited completed 15 RAB holes for 452 metres in Geology Exploration and mining has been conducted on Archaen lode style gold mineralisation.
