1 International Studies Program Electives Elective courses may be selected from an array of academic areas, including international studies, anthropology, applied communications studies, art and design, biological sciences, criminal justice, economics, English language and literature, environmental sciences, foreign languages and literature, geography history, humanities, mass communication, music, philosophy, physics, political science, public administration and policy analysis, social work, sociology, theater and dance, and interdisciplinary studies (IS). International Studies INTS Internship in International Studies (3 credit hours) INTS Independent Project in International Studies (3 credit hours) An internship with an international focus (INTS 400) and an independent project with an international focus (INTS 401) are not required but highly encouraged as major electives.
