The participation in Spain is very high, Collective project: an SDI of SDIs Two parts Spanish SDI project, there are a lot of actors that take part to define Spanish SDI Geoportal is developing by IGN and Zaragoza University 6

7 Geoportal is based on cooperation and openness with consensus and experiences according to INSPIRE guidelines, OGC and ISO standards. 7

11 Bordering Geoportal The projects are compliant with ISO standards, OGC specifications and it follows the principles and criteria established in INSPIRE Directive for Europe The four countries are very actively involved in developing a set of web services to fulfil their users requirements and to try to implement the INSPIRE Directive philosophy and prescriptions, including the set of INSPIRE Implementing Rules. They develop services like metadata catalogue and viewer 11

13 Horizontal interoperability Measures for interoperability - WMS in viewers: In Portuguese, French, Spanish and Andorran viewers they are direct links by default to Portuguese, Spanish and Andorran WMS, to make easier the combined display of each national cartography 13

15 Annual Workshop on SDI is changing and next steps From Spanish SDI Workshop (Jornadas de la IDE de España) to SDI Iberian Workshop (Jornadas Ibéricas de IDE) PT, AD, ES participation, a FR representation is kindly invited JIIDE 2010: Lisbon, October 2010 To define a new Road Map, based on consensus (RF, PT, ES, AD) To progress in the seamless integration of the 4 SDIs 15
