29 International activity GEOSS Architecture Implementation Pilot Phase 8 (AIP-8) / GEOSS Water Services (GWS) karteco is participating in the GEOSS Architecture Implementation Pilot Phase 8 (AIP-8) / GEOSS Water Services (GWS) ( The primary goal of AIP-8 / GWS is to continue work begun in previous cycles of the GEOSS Architecture Implementation Pilot (AIP), encouraging and helping government data providers and research centers to publish water resource time series data, including observed and modeled variables such as stream flow, stream depth, precipitation, soil moisture, runoff, water quality, and others. AIP-8 / GWS has two major focuses of activity: i. providing guidance for implementing water data networks at the regional and national scale, and ii. coordinating three approaches for national and global flood forecasting in current development.
