1 Unit 2 Exam Note/Sample Questions READ THIS NOTE: You will be provided with a periodic table on the exam. The one you will be receiving is the one at this URL: However, the labels of Lanthanide series and Actinide series will be blocked out, so REMEMBER where they are. You will be allowed to use a calculator in this exam. Either bring your own (it cannot be a graphing or programmable calculator only a scientific calculator will be allowed) or one will be provided for you. I cannot guarantee that you will receive a scientific calculator if you do not bring your own. You may not use your phone as a calculator. The test will be MOSTLY multiple-choice (4 choices: A, B, C, D) as many students have requested this. This does NOT mean you should use multiple-choice as a crutch to study less. You are still expected to know WHY and HOW the things we studied work the way they do these will be asked during the test AS FREE RESPONSE QUESTIONS (where you write complete sentences to explain your answer). The test will take the whole period (~75 minutes) so come prepared on time to class. If you are late, you will not receive any extra time to take the exam. Below are some sample test questions. Answer keys will be uploaded later tonight. I may put up more practice questions but ONLY IF I see enough people visiting the website to study. Some of these questions may appear on your test except with the numbers changed around, so I highly recommend knowing how to solve each and every single problem on here.
