Summary 2 and CO are obtained as the major products in the CO 2 -reforming of methane, propane, and neopentane in nonthermal plasma (NTP). Their reactivities are greatly affected by their chemical structures and reaction temperature. CO 2 reactivity is not affected by reaction temperature. CO is quantitatively obtained from CO 2 in the absence of the counterpart hydrocarbon. Temperature effect on the 2 yield ildis greatly affected by the chemical structures of the aliphatic hydrocarbons (Cs). The molar ratio of 2 to CO, and the carbon balance are affected by the chemical structures of Cs, [C] / [CO 2 ], and reaction temperature.
