Research Accomplishments After four years of graduate research, I am leading the metal-organic framework (MOF) team in Rosi s group. I have made several seminal contributions to the investigation of metal-adeninate bio-mofs during this time. Specifically, I have discovered over 50 new bio-mofs (over 10 of which are mesoporous materials) for CO 2 capture, separation of large species, fuels storage and so on. During this time, I have served as the mentor and supervisor for a total of 7 undergraduate students; most of these students have reached a level of independence which allowed them to be key contributors on several publications. I have become accustomed to working in a highly collaborative research environment, working as a bridge between the Rosi Group and groups at the National Energy Technology Laboratory and other research groups in Pittsburgh and throughout the U.S. and Europe.
