3 nu plasma II MULTI-COLLECTOR ICP MS nu plasma 1700 MULTI-COLLECTOR ICP MS The Nu Plasma II is a Multi Collector ICP Mass Spectrometer (MC-ICP-MS), designed to provide the best possible precision for simultaneous isotopic ion detection. The instrument utilises a unique, patented, variable dispersion ion optical Zoom lens enabling the simultaneous measurement of the isotopes of elements from lithium to uranium on its static collector array of sixteen Faraday detectors and up to six ion-counting electron multipliers. Ground potential analyser operation provides ease of access, serviceability and excellent reliability. With its high precision, accuracy, reliability, upgradability and flexibility, the Nu Plasma II represents a major advancement in Multi- Collector ICP technology, making it the instrument of choice for Geological/Earth Science, Forensic Science, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science and Nuclear Science laboratories. Uniquely for a MC-ICP-MS, the large geometry enables resolutions of >5000 (10% valley) while maintaining peak flats for the ultimate in precise and accurate simultaneous isotopic measurements. Furthermore, each Faraday and ion counting multiplier detector has its own variable high resolution slit system, allowing different resolution settings on individual detectors. This unique feature gives the Nu Plasma 1700 capabilities that cannot be matched by other MC-ICP-MS instruments. 4 HIGH RESOLUTION ICP MS GLOW DISCHARGE MS The AttoM is a double-focusing, highresolution magnetic sector mass spectrometer. The instrument is entirely purpose designed and built to provide the best performance and reliability coupled with flexibility and ease-of-use for highprecision and accurate elemental and isotope ratio analysis. A unique detector system gives the Attom a large dynamic range, and its electrostatic scanning capability has the widest range in its class (40%). Furthermore, the continuously variable high resolution means that sufficient resolution for isobaric separation can be selected with minimum compromise in sensitivity. It is capable of quantifying virtually all elements from lithium to uranium, and from matrix to sub part-perbillion. The instrument combines a glow discharge ion source with a high resolution mass spectrometer and is a major step forward in GD-MS, from the cryo-cooled tantalum source/cell and rapid sample changeover system through to the bespoke control software. 5 THERMAL IONISATION MS Noblesse NOBLE GAS MS The Nu TIMS is a Thermal ionisation mass spectrometer (TIMS) designed for precise and accurate measurement of elemental isotopic ratios. It has been developed using our field-proven variable dispersion multicollector technology to improve the versatility and overall performance of this long established analytical technique. The instrument combines design advances in filament assembly, ion optics and electronics control with ease of use and high precision. The Nu TIMS utilises our unique, patented Zoom lens system to ensure perfect peak alignment without the requirement of moving detectors. The optional ion-counting mini Daly, capable of precise measurement of small samples and low abundance isotopes, provides the ultimate in stability, linearity and dynamic range.
