1 February 18, 2014 To All Hastings High School Band/Marching Band members and families, February 24-March 24 is the Gerten s Annual Bedding Plant and Hanging Basket Sale. This sale gives your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors the chance to purchase a variety of flowers from Gerten s Greenhouse without having to fight the crowds at their store. The earnings that go into your account vary by plant size and can be found at the bottom of the page. This money can be used for band/marching band related expenses such as: Marching band fee Instrument repair and accessories Lesson books Concert attire and uniform accessories Band camps, trips and competitions Read over the information packet and familiarize yourself with what you are selling Make additional copies of Customer Order Sheet (use 1 for each customer) Use a separate Customer Sheet for each customer Fill in your name, customer s name, address and phone, along with quantities and total $ Collect the money when the order is placed Checks must be written to HASTINGS BAND BOOSTERS Add up total quantities from all Customer sheets and record these on Order Total sheet There is a tally sheet in the order form packet to help you figure your totals Calculate $ totals on Order Total sheet please check your figures more than once Fill in your name, current grade, phone # and on the Order Total sheet PLEASE turn in ONLY the Total Order sheet and money to your band or marching band director no later than 2:00 PM on Monday, March 24, Orders will be delivered to the high school (outside near band room door on lower level) for student pick-up the afternoon of Saturday, May 10. Order form packets are available on the Fundraisers page of We will need lots of adult help assemble the orders at the high school starting at 1pm on Saturday May 10. Those who have larger orders ($500+) are asked to send at least one person to help out. Smaller orders, please come too the more hands we have, the quicker we can release individual orders so you can begin loading and delivering to your customers.
