1 SAMPLE PAPER, TERM - 1 SESSION MATHEMATICS CLASS-VI Time Allowed- 3 hrs M.M General Instructions:- 1. All questions are compulsory. 2. The question paper consist of 27 questions, divided into four Sections A, B, C and D. 3. Section A contains 4 very short-answer type questions of 1 mark each. Section B contains 10 short-answer type questions of 2 marks each. Section C contains 11 long-answer-1 type questions of 4 marks each. Section D contains 2 long-answer-2 type questions of 6 marks each. 4. Write the serial number of the question before attempting it. 5. There is no overall choice although one internal choice is given in given Section B, C and D. SECTION A (Each question carries 1 mark) 1. Write the following numbers in ascending order: , 99999, , Write the name of a quadrilateral having only one pair of sides parallel to each other. 3. How many children were there in the stadium? 11. A function hall is 260 m long and 120 m wide. Find the side of the largest square tile that can be used to the cover the total area of the floor. 12. Anusha has 72 roses. She wants to make different patterns with roses. Find out in how different ways she can arrange them. 13. The HCF and LCM of two numbers are 44 and 264 respectively. Ms. Yakang, the librarian of the school wants to store these books in shelves such that each shelf should have the same number of books of each subject.
