2 In the AH Chart of the day of the event I show the, in my view, most relevant aspects: Venus Ruler of the 1 st opposite Sun = life giver, but also Ruler of the 4 th House of endings, conjunct Saturn = death Venus sextile Jupiter, Ruler of the 8 th House of death Nnode (close to the 10/4 axis) sextile Pluto, death It is a close call. Most of the astrologers choose option 3. What tips the scale into the direction of option 4? We will have to look at other charts that will support that. In this case I think the Profections are very illuminating. That year she is in a 3 rd House Profected year. Jupiter is the Year Lord Jupiter is (Classic) Ruler of the 1 st and 4 th in the 4 th Profected House (endings). Jupiter trines the Moon, Ruler of the 8 th, in the 8 th Profected House conjunct Uranus.: sudden endings/death Saturn (natural significator of death) conjunct the South Node is right on her Profected Ascendant (3 rd House) To me this is already very convincing we are dealing with death rather than surgery. But let s see what the outcome is when we analyze the Profected date of the event. The date of the event is 23 February 2002 The Profected month: The first House is active from 4 th February to March 3 rd. The date of the event falls within this range. Thus the Profected month is the 1 st Profected House (= the 3 rd natal House). Again we see Jupiter and Saturn playing a significant role as mentioned above. The Profected day: Her birth year, 1928, is a leap year. February has 29 days in Counting the days, starting with the 1 st House covering February until 12:00 Hrs. until February 23 rd ends up in the 8 th Profected House until 10:00 hrs., or the 9 th Profected House until 20:00 hrs. I don t know what time she died. Both the 8 th Profected House or Venus, Ruler of the 8 th natal House, refer to her death. ---

Rahu gives the effects of its Lord Mercury, who owns the 12th House and is placed in the 6 th House. Rahu is rasi aspecting Saturn (the Atmakaraka) strongly within one degree. Mercury (Rahu's lord) is also rasi aspecting, giving manifesting strength. Mercury is placed in fatal degree in the D30 varga, suggesting the likelihood of accidents and health problems during Rahu dasa. To further worsen the situation, Mercury is the 22 nd Drekkana lord and the 64 th Navamsha lord, producing strong probability of death during Rahu dasa.
