2 Homework-4 Review Write a C program to demonstrate the following scheduling algorithms First Come First Serve. (20 pts) Shortest Job First without Preemption. (30 pts) Round Robin with time quantum. (40 pts) Evaluation: Sequence of execution. (Gantt chart) Individual turnaround time and Average turnaround time. Individual waiting time and Average waiting time. Throughput.
3 Homework-4 Review A CSV file is provided which contains all the processes. Processes.csv Header Process 1 Process You can expect a maximum of 10 processes existing in the processes.csv file
4 First Come First Serve Non pre-emptive. Schedules with respect to arrival time. Process that arrived first will get the CPU burst until it completes. Let s work on an example.

7 Shortest Job First The process with less amount of burst time is prioritized In non-preemptive, the running process will continue, irrespective of another process coming in and then once it ends, other processes burst time is compared Again, let s work with an example.

9 Round Robin Round robin Everyone gets a chance. The quantum (integer) is used to determine the time quantum for round robin. (Command line argument) Ready Queue is First come First served. For this assignment, if a new process arrives the same instant when a process is switched out, the new process gets in the ready queue first.
