SSS - Objective and Importance of the Study: The need to systematize the study of Spiritism was provided by Allan Kardec, as set out in Project 1868, inserted in "Posthumous Works", in verbis: A

I consider this course will influence the future of Spiritism and its consequences.

8 Differences amongst: 1. Spiritist Doctrine: The Promised Consoler by Jesus. (continued on other slide) Spiritist Center: Channel for the dissemination of the hopes and consolations. It is not church, but Temple, Home, Hospital, School and Workshop. Spiritist Movement: Is the set of activities aimed to study, publicize and practice Spiritism, contained in the basic works of Allan Kardec, to bring it within reach and service of all humanity. They are made by individuals, singly or together, and Spiritist Institutions. Spiritist Institutions that may be of small, medium or large size, comprise the groups, centers or Spiritist Societies that develop general activities of the study, dissemination and practice of the Spiritist Doctrine, and can develop activities such as assistance and social promotion. Federal Entities are involved in the union of Spiritist Institutions and unification of the Spiritist Movement.

9 Spiritism or Spiritist Doctrine is a science that deals with the nature, origin and destiny of Spirits, and their relations with the corporal world. It has three aspects: the philosophical the scientific the religious
