Dear Residents, 911 I hope this letter finds you and your families basking in the joy of a peaceful holiday season and looking forward to the New Year with eagerness and hope. I am happy to report that 2015 was a very good year for the City of Brentwood and we have much to look forward to in Non Emergency Dispatch: Fire: Municipal Court Parks & Rec As I said, 2015 was very good year for the City. Our finances continue to be very strong and we finished the year with a reserve of more than $4M. We were able to add $668,500 to the City s General Fund reserves while carrying out a number of capital improvements. Capital improvements in 2015 included: Public Works & Trash Services Sewer Lateral Hotline Brentwood Library Resurfacing and re-curbing High School Drive (Wards 3, 1, 4), Annalee Ave (Ward 3), Louis Ave (Ward 3), Tilles Drive (Ward 1), Pine Ave (Ward 2), Lawn Ave (Ward 2), Urban Drive ( Ward 2), Spanish Drive (Ward 2), Woodsey Drive (Ward 2), and Brentwood Alley (Ward 4). Existing sidewalks were repaired along all of the streets above as well as the 8300 to 8600 blocks of Rosalie and the 8700 block of Bridgeport. Resurfaced trails through Hanley Park, Oak Tree Park and Memorial Park. Continued implementation of sidewalks and pedestrian lighting in Hanley Industrial Court. Implementation of new road surface, sidewalks, curbs, storm sewers and pedestrian lighting on Litzsinger Road between McKnight and Brentwood Blvd. Renovation of the Recreation Center and Ice Rink. Installation of seven storm water containment and control chambers along High School, White and Bridgeport roads. (Continued on page 2)
