Showing interest and respect for the others opinions/speech. Duration Three weeks 3 years: 30 min/week 4 years: 1h/week 5 years: 1 5h/week Materials and Resources Used Subjects associated Songs and handmade materials: flashcards and hand-out (see pen drive). Step 1: To introduce the new vocabulary through the dialogue, we speak about the weather. Step 2: P3: To sing what s the weather like today? song (teacher + flashcards). Observation grids and games (we use the song and the weather report as evaluation). Note: Important considerations: - We are going to focus our work in words and expressions (Oral English). - The English teacher speaks in English, even if the pupils use Spanish or Catalan to speak with her: She gives the information and the instructions in English; she will have to make the children understand what she wants to say by reinforcing the spoken words with gestures (body language) and pictures. But when they don t understand, she uses Catalan. - She will also have to make them repeat all the words and expressions with the correct pronunciation and intonation (as correct as they can). - All the activities will be developed in big group. - The tense in the activities can be modified according to the rhythm and necessities of the learners.
