1 Intro to Science Project Names: Pd: Date: 1st Nine Weeks PROJECT We are going to do an Earth Science project. You will work with a partner to make a poster of your space concept. You will have at least 6 specific questions to answer but will be expected to do more. I do not want tables and/or graphs printed from the internet or book. If you have a partner who is not doing his/her part I need to know immediately NOT when the project is due. The poster will be due. I will use the rubric below to grade your poster. This paper MUST be turned in with poster. Item Points possible Points earned Neat and readable 10 6 questions answered accurately 6 Helpful pictures to enhance poster 10 Added information enhances project 10 APA format is correct 10 Name(s) period and date on poster 4 Total Points 50 Project grade 50 Expectations of Posters for Space Project 1. Neat and readable from a little distance questions answered that was given to student during class. 3. Pictures to add to the project. (Color preferred.) 4. Pictures should have a url attached to them or correlated to the back of the poster. (ie; Picture #1 on back of poster Picture Extra information that enhances (adds depth) to concepts. Do NOT just answer the questions. 6. Every fact/information correlated to a work cited page (which is on the back of the poster). Fact/Information (author). 7. Should have minimum of 3 different sources and your textbook can be one. 8. Should have name, and period written on back of poster. 9. Must have rubric attached to poster by one staple. -5 pts if Rubric is missing
