6 Reticles The foundation of the Horus Vision System, our patented Horus Vision reticles introduce a next-generation grid system that extends outdated mil dot targeting. Horus Vision reticles improve on bulky mil dots with easy-to-read, calibrated fine hack marks that do not obscure targets, and a reference grid system that reduces training time to mere hours. Horus reticles are built with ergonomically precise, high-quality optics, so they re comfortable to use and extremely accurate. 7 Tactical H2 Falcon H2 The H2 was designed specifically for military use. It has thick center lines for quick targeting. A rheostat controls illumination for twilight conditions and the illuminated pattern is well suited to night vision devices. The H2 has an inverted L for range finding and will work with all types of ammunition. H27 Falcon H27 With a narrower, less crowded grid, the H27 performs when the mission calls for prolonged observation along with target strike; especially when wind is not so much of a factor. The H27 has the same illuminated pattern as the H2 and H37. H37 H2 (illuminated) Falcon H37 This ultra-long-range reticle is designed to engage targets to 2,00 yards. It raises the main central cross higher in the field of view to allow more grid to be used at increased magnifications. Thus, the H37 can accommodate longer-range cartridges such as the.338 Lapua and 0 BMG. H0 (4x) H0 Talon H0 (single plane) We designed the H0 to switch easily between the elimination of close (point blank) threats using the large center circle, and long range target engagement (to 600 yards) using the grid a versatile combination that gives you the advantage in speed and distance. Marks on the main horizontal approximate the tracking of targets walking, running, and sprinting. H47 H0 (4x illuminated) H47 (4x illuminated) Talon H47 (dual plane) The H47 is nearly identical to the H0 except that the illumination pattern is a bright center dot instead of a lighted ring and crosshair. A special dual-plane design gives the H47 the brightest dot available, while keeping a constant size throughout the power range.... Spotting Scope Reticle H32 Spotting H32 and H36 Horus Vision s spotting reticles feature square grids for range estimation, target speed calculation, and second-shot correction. They precisely match the mil grids of our riflescopes so that spotter and shooter share a common frame of reference that enables concise communications.... Hunting HH42 H36 Hawk HH42 Designed for general hunting and made without illumination to satisfy regulations, the HH42 features a range finder in the lower left quadrant that uses standard IOA (inch of angle) measure for easy calculations. The grid allows quick, precise shots, from point blank to out beyond 600 yards. The HH42 comes with range cards for all popular calibers. H70 Predator H70 Developed for daylight varmint hunters used to measuring in yards, the H70 is calibrated in the Shooter s Minute Of Angle (SMOA), which subtends to one inch at exactly 100 yards. 11 ATragMP Tactical ATragMP has advanced proven formulas that have Coriolis effect, spin drift, and the earth s rotation factored into the software. New features have been added this year for multiple targets and dual wind speeds (for bracketing). Our easy-to-use interface makes the program feel intuitively familiar and quick to understand. Software Accessories Need a PDA to run your ATrag software? Although ATrag has been tested on many of the most popular PDAs, as a courtesy we offer these models to Horus Vision customers. You don t need to bring the PDA into the field, but if you do, you may want to consider protecting it with an Otterbox 2000 hard PDA case. Palm m12 (Exchangeable batteries) Palm discontinued the m12, but we have a limited supply of these refurbished units. It is the only commercial model PDA that uses AAA batteries. Sometimes it is just impossible to find an electrical outlet in the desert. Palm TX (Horus Vision standard unit) One of the best PDA models that Palm has ever offered, the TX has a long battery life, a large, bright screen, fast processing speed, and tough durability. An optional AA auxiliary battery pack may be ordered with the TX. Recon (Horus rugged Pocket PC) The Recon is quickly becoming the standard rugged Pocket PC for the military built to military specs. 12 Calibration An instrument is only as accurate as its calibration. Tuning of the instruments must be performed with the proper setup. Long-range rifles and scopes are no exception. Enter Horus Vision s Combination Accuracy Targeting System (CATS) calibration system and Angle Slope Level Indicator (ASLI). Together, they bring the rifle and scope relationship effectively to real-world conditions. CATS ensures that your scope is calibrated correctly without the need of expensive measuring devices. The ASLI makes sure that the scope and rifle are tuned and are being used while correctly aligned to gravity. 13 CATS Long-range shooting requires precise elevation and windage adjustments to accurately engage distant targets. Therefore, it is critical that the riflescope s elevation and windage adjustment knobs yield precise adjustments. When a marksman engages distant targets and misses, the blame is generally first placed on the ammo, then the rifle, and finally, the shooter. The riflescope is almost never seen as a source of trouble. Because a lot of money is usually spent on riflescopes, it is falsely assumed that they are perfectly calibrated optical instruments. Not so. Even the most expensive scopes may be off. To check this, Horus Vision has produced the low-tech, reliable, inexpensive Combination Accuracy Targeting System (CATS), which is designed for use at 100 yards. You do not need a 00- or 2,000-yard range. At last, with CATS, a scope s elevation and windage adjustments can be verified, along with the relationship of the scope s mount to the rifle. CATS will reveal and help correct problems with cant, maximal elevation, run out, and the point of elevation where the scope no longer tracks on the perpendicular. An additional bonus we discovered while developing CATS is that it can be used effectively to train long-range shooting on a short 100-yard range.... ASLI The Horus Vision ASLI gives the sophisticated marksman a slope indicator and cant indicator in a single, precision engineered, hermetically sealed unit. It s reversible and can be mounted on either side of the scope to accommodate both rightand left-handed shooters. The ASLI eliminates the guesswork in uphill and downhill shots. To find correct level/ground distance, simply multiply the range to the target by the cosine value shown on the slope indicator. For long-range shots, the cant indicator is invaluable for keeping your bullet flight true to your sighted aim. 14 Horus 4-4x0 Hubble Light and tough, the H32 reticled Hubble is a straight light path scope measuring a little over 13 inches and weighing 2 ounces. Less bulky than the Leupold scope, it is perfect for carrying in the pant-leg pocket. H32... Spotting A powerful tool for forward observers, marksmen, and snipers, the Horus Vision Spotting Scope gives spotters and snipers a common frame of reference and measure, so communication is efficient and effective.
