10 procedure d smantl ng the operat ng mechan sm B A Remove the voltage presence nd cator. (remove bolts A) Cut t es B. F t lock ng tool n Rotate through 180. Prevent any transverse movement of the tool by f tt ng the padlock w th the 8 mm d ameter shackle. C For cub cles equ ed th a mechan cal fuse blown n cat on, ref t ng C. Remove the 3 bolts secur ng the operat ng mechan m and w thdraw the latter. S1B22874 rev s on : 02 9

11 mount ng the motor on the speed reducer for clar ty n the prese on of the nformat on n th s manual, the mount ng of the motor w ll be descr bed f rst. Note that the overall procedure s eas er f t s mounted at the end. Unscrew the mult funct on plate. (3 HM5 screws) Remove the mult funct on plate w th the lever lockout bar. Secure the motor w th 2 M5 bolts, 1 spacer and 2 nylstop nuts. T gh g torque : 2,5 Nm. Secure the rocker and the gear motor assembly. F t m cros tch S21. Bolt T ghten ng torque: 8 Nm. (CI1) or f t m cro tches S17 and S21. Bolt. T ghten ng torque: 8 Nm. (CI2). 10 S1B22874 rev s on : 02

12 For a CI1 pr or to June 95, remove the ngle cam and mount a double cam. For a CI2 pr or to June 95, mount a double cam. Mount the m cro tch cam. T hten the cup---po nt screw and secure th loc te h h---strength thread lock ng compound. T ght g torque: 15 Nm. (CI2) Screw on the d tance sleeves. T ghten ng torque: 4,5 Nm. Install the loc ng system and the nuts. T ghten ng torque: 4,5 Nm. For operat ng mechan sms pr or to August 95, f t the bolts and block the nuts. T ghten ng torque: 8 Nm. Secure the CIP1 subassembly w th 2 nylstop nuts. T ghten ng torque: 8 Nm. dc supply jumpers R1 and R2 removed. ac current d odes D1, D2, D3 and D5 removed., S1B22874 rev s on : 02 11

13 As of August 95, secure subassembly CIP1 2 nylstop nuts. T ghten ng torque: 8 Nm. th Mount m crosw tch S14 and a n the top edge of the m crosw tch support bracket w th the top edge of the front plate. 2 HM4 x 12 bolts and 2 nylstop nuts. T ghten ng torque: 2,8 Nm. Us ng a bell ---tester, check that m cro---sw tch S14 sw tches when the earth ng sw tch operat ng lever s nserted and removed. If t does not, adjust the po t on of the m cro---sw tch support. Mount the aux ary contact support. 7, 9 or 12 contacts (the short bolt should be on top and the long one on the bottom). 14 F t the sp ng and screw on the nut w thout t ghten ng t. Leave 7 mm between the two nuts. Mount the three m crosw tches S13, S15 and S16. T ghten ng torque: 0,4 Nm. A Us ng a bell ---tester, check that m cro---sw tch S13 sw tches when the sw tch operat ng lever s nserted and removed. If t does not, adjust the po t on of the m cro---sw tch support. Mount the ratchet system, w thout apply ng exce ve force. T ght g torque: 28 Nm. F t the necessary p ns, grease and apply lock ng compound to the correspon ng parts. 15 Mount the clo ng release and ts support n the CI2 operat ng mechan. T ghten ng torque: 5,5 Nm. t the w of the co. ng from the top To screw the open ng release on ts support, T ghten ng torque: 2,8 Nm. To screw all and the tr ng blade n the operat ng mechan m. T ghten ng torque: 5,5 Nm. F x the m cro---sw tches S18 and S19 T ghten ng torque: 0.4 Nm before to mount the open ng release on ts support T ghten ng torque: 2,8 Nm. 16 r g the mult funct on plate and the lever lockout bar B A The blade of m crosw tch S14 (A) must be located under the branch of the lever lockout bar ( B ). Deta l show ng the ng path beh nd the voltage presence n cator. Mount the mult ---funct on plate and the lever lockout bar. Mount the lock ng blade. P1 Secure the mulator P1 w th 2 tap screws. T ghten ng torque: 2,5 Nm. M4 x 25 screws, 4 mm d ameter contact washer, M4 nut. The motor should be mounted now. Connect the 2 w res beh nd the motor. Secure (2 bolts, 2 M4 nylstop nuts and 1 spacer: T ghten ng torque: 0,25 Nm, w th the spacer and the head of the bolt n e the speed reducer). S1B22874 rev s on : 02 15

17 remount ng the operat ng mechan sm Mount the operat ng mechan m, respect ng the 6 follo ng po nts. 1 : the c symbol must be n the po t on nd cated above. (sw tch n open po t on). A B C 2 : lhe crankshaft of the operat ng mechan m must f t n the hole ( A). 3 : the crank of the downstream earth sw tch ( B ) must po nt to the ht of the operat ng mechan m. In add t on, on PM, QM and QMC cub cles, the p n ( C ) on th s crank must f t ns e the slot n the connect ng rod of the downstream earth ng sw tch. 4 : the pusher n must f t n e the hole of the lever lockout bar lock. 16 S1B22874 rev s on : 02

P Q U ng the three new contact washers, ref t the three bolts for the operat ng mechan m. T ght g torque: 28 Nm. Remount the voltage presence n cator u ng bolts ( P ) HM 4x10 + the M4 nylstop nuts that come w th the k t. T gh g torque : 1,5 Nm. t the t e (Q). Remove the lock ng tool. F t the two cage nuts. 26 ss g and m tenance truct ons operat ng checks - carry out 3 open ng/clo ng cycles : the durat on of each operat on should not exceed 9s. - auto---ene at on check : n t ate a cha ng or clo ng operat on by an mpulse type order; the correspond ng operat on should be ca ed out completely. - ant ---pump ng check : send open ng and clo ng orders at the same t me. > sw tch open : the tch should rema n open. : f the open ng order s released, the sw tch should close (clo ng order ma nta ned). : f the clo ng order s released, the sw tch should rema n open. > sw ch closed : the sw tch should open and rema n open. - check the elect cal lock ng systems : > t should be o e to close the s tch elect cally f the operat ng lever s nserted n the earth ng sw tch operat ng mechan. > t should be o e to close the s tch elect cally f the operat ng lever s nserted n the sw tch operat ng mechan m. - check that the po t on nd cat on contacts operat ng correctly (accord ng to the d agram used). note : elect cal tests are ca ed out from the customer s term nal block. f electr cal operat on cannot be checked, use a bell---tester to check the sw tch g of m ro---sw tches S13 and S14 when sert g and remo g the operat g lever. 27 trouble---shoot ng table The electr al opera g mechan sm does not work - Check the LV fuses (CIP2). H Check the elect cal locks S13 and S14 (lever nsert on). - Check that the operat ng shaft of the earth ng sw tch s all the way to the open po t on. - Check that contact S14 s not block ng the supply of power; f necessary re---adjust t. - Check the conf urat on of subassembly CIP1 (see d agram). 26 S1B22874 rev s on : 02
