2 Aspects undertaken in the Collaborations 1. At ALICE: Involved in the analysis of ALICE data on p-p, p-pb and Pb-Pb collisions to study 1) production of J/Ψ and 2) correlations and event-by event fluctuations. We are developing a method to extract rare events exhibiting large fluctuations in narrow phase space window from the huge data sample. Results have been presented in the PWG (Physics Working Group) meeting at CERN. 2. At INO: Working on the validation of INO-ICAL simulation code by studying the muon detection efficiency and its dependence on the strip width and muon angle. RPC simulation studies are also going on. 3. At GRAPES: Involved in the study of composition of Primary Cosmic Rays (PCR) by using the scintillator and muon detector data by sorting out the muon-rich and muon-poor events. This would help in distinguishing the charged particle or γ-ray initiated showers. We are doing simulations to obtain the energy spectrum of PCR due to individual nuclei by studying the muon-multiplicity distributions predicted by different Models.
