2 TDVFI - MX4 Series Technologies Energy Saving Compact Size Wide Combination Simplifies Installation Ultimate Reliability 1. Reliable FULL DC Compressor The Reluctance Brushless DC Inverter compressor operate with high efficiency (EER), fast start-up response and less energy consumption to save your electricity charges. The motor comprises powerful neodymium magnets, that create the reluctance torque. These magnets are approximately 12 times stronger than the normal ferrite magnets and make a major contribution to reduce operation noise, compressor size, compressor weight and energy saving characteristics. The Inverter Compressor operates in superior performance with improved middle frequency range ( 35~75 Hz ), combined with the multi constant speed scroll compressor in the system circuit. Able to attain various capacity range between 15 ~ 130 %, depending on the partial and loading required capacity. New structure for improved middle frequency range Specially designed scroll profile for R410A More compact, weight reduced by 50% Advanced powerful neodymium magnets 1

3 2. Smooth Sine Wave DC Inverter Optimizing the sine wave curve, results in smooth motor rotation and improved motor efficiency Sine Wave DC inverter Common sawtooth wave 3. Digital PCB Electrical Control Provides DC inverter compressor soft starter function to minimize power fluctuation on the power system. Built in 3 phase power protector to protect compressor operation from abnormal power supply condition, whereby it may cause damage to the compressor. New improved Auto Oil Return Program run for 15 minutes on every 8 hours operation cycle to ensure sufficient oil lubrication for the compressor system. 4. High Efficiency DC Fan Motor The use of a DC fan motor offers substantial improvements in operating efficiency compared to conventional AC motors, especially during low speed operation. Energy saving up to 45 %, especially at low speed operation. Operate in various speed to suit the changes of the outdoor ambient temperature and compressor output capacity. The high efficiency DC fan motor is able to deliver norminal External Static Pressure of 0.08 inwg, for higher External Static Pressure up to 0.2 inwg is available as option. 5. High Efficiency Hydrophilic Heat Exchanges Stagged row of diameter 7 mm inner groove copper tubes with 28 ~ 30 % increased efficient heat exchanger provide better heat transfer co-efficient and low air pressure drop. Designed with dual circuits to maintain sufficient subcooling and system efficiency during partial loading and loading condition. Durable anti-corrosion hydrophilic corrugated aluminium fin improve corrosion resistance and weather proof. 6. New Improved Fans & Discharge Air Grilles New designed fan blades and discharge air grille profile has been improved in air flow. This greatly reduces the air turbulent flow, noise level, vibration and air pressure drop. Thus, lower air pressure drop results in lower energy consumption for fan motor. Enlarged fan blade for smoother air flow 7. Built in Oil Separator & Suction Accumulator High efficiency centrifugal oil separator built in the refrigerant circuit to improves oil separation efficiency up to 99% of oil migration and refrigerant pressure drop in the system. The built in suction accumulator caters for maintaining the compressor reliability due to long piping length and high refrigerant volume application. 8. The faulty unit can be set as standby state by adjusting " DIP " switch in the outdoor PCB control at field. In the single outdoor system, if one of the compressor malfunction, the field set back-up by service technician will allow for emergency operation. The alternate compressor will allow to operate and maintain interim capacity. Note : This function not applicable for - MS4 outdoor unit. 5 Precise Comfortable Temperature Control The thermostat can control stable room temperature at ± C from set point. An electronic expansion valve is continuously adjusting the refrigerant flow volume in respond to load variation of the indoor units. The DC inverter air conditioner system maintains comfortable room temperature at a virtually constant level, without the typical temperature variations that occur from conventional ON/OFF air conditioner system. (± 0.5 C) (± 3.0 C) Easy Maintenance Self diagnosis function-operated via push button on the PCB with display "malfunctions code" or "operation status code" able to speed up troubleshooting and maintenance. Rotatable Electric Control Box Max. open to 150 degree, makes it possible to do the maintenance for the piping system directly without removing the whole control box. Reluctance Brushless DC Compressor The Reluctance Brushless DC Inverter compressor operate with high efficiency (EER), fast start-up response and less energy consumption to save your electricity charges. The motor comprises powerful neodymium magnets, that create the reluctance torque. These magnets are approximately 12 times stronger than the normal ferrite magnets and make a major contribution to reduce operation noise, compressor size, compressor weight and energy saving characteristics. The Inverter Compressor operates in superior performance with improved middle frequency range ( 35~75 Hz ), combined with the multi constant speed scroll compressor in the system circuit. Able to attain various capacity range between 15 ~ 130 %, depending on the partial and loading required capacity. 16
