13 Conclusions (and perspectives?) and CMS reported mild excess in TeV diphoton spectrum ü Around 75 (76) GeV ü Largest local significance ~.9 σ ATLAS for width ~6% ü Global significance is really small! No reason to get (too) excited! :. σ, CMS:. σ significance largest for smaller width Analyses targeting different signal ü ATLAS à scalar ; CMS à graviton ü Both analyses have (sub-optimal) sensitivity to other signal What can we expect before 6 data taking? ü ATLAS has graviton-like analysis still to be made public ü Scalar analysis from CMS? ü Better calibration in both experiments energy scale (mass and significance), resolution (significance) ü Extended compatibly/combination with 8 TeV results?
