GOLDMINE NFL players once again had the chance to share the causes that are important to them during all Week 13 games, as part of the NFL s My Cause, My Cleats campaign. The initiative was a culmination of collaborative work between the NFL and players across the league. The Salvation Army is my favorite nonprofit becasue they provide resources to single mothers and help them get on their feet during times of need, said Mitchell. In 2013, Mitchell added CrossFit to his workout repertoire three times a week to help with his endurance. It s just something I picked up during the offseason, Mitchell said in I was kind of just looking at different ways to work out and that was right up my alley and what would translate best for me in terms of how I feel during practice and during games. It takes a lot of heart to do CrossFit so that s really why I did it. While playing at the University of Arizona, Mitchell transitioned from TE/H-Back to a DL for his final two seasons ( ).
