1 Outdoor Education Curriculum for Camp Fire First Texas Council The Treasures of El Tesoro The Outdoor Education Curriculum The Treasures of El Tesoro is a series of standards based planned instructional units th are designed to result in the achievement by the of specific knowledge and skills and the application of this knowledge at Camp El Tesoro. Each of the standards based units in The Treasures of El Tesoro is divided into multiple lessons that focus on specific knowledge and skills. Each lesson is comprised of several activities designed to teach the knowledge and skills within the lessons. Although the lessons are designed primarily for grades 3-5, adaptations can easily be made for use of these materia with grades PreK-2 as well as older in grades 6-8 and 9-12 as well as adult learners. Join us as we explore the Treasures of El Tesoro!
