12 Summary IqIq This paper has derived expressions for the generalized BER of coherent BPSK over JFTS faded/shadowed channels. The analytical result is found to agree with the simulation results. Performance degrades as K and S h decreases. With FEC, CC with VD offers a 3 db improvement in performance over HC with HD. SDD offers an extra 3 db improvement in performance over HDD. Slide 12/12
